If we limit his touches, he could make it through a whole season...maybe!

Re: Pimp the Poll: Who has best positioned himself for a roster spot?
I think theres a good chance that Mitchell could end up being the number 2 Receiver by next year. Devin Thomas on the other hand is worrying me a little but hey if we end up with two good young recievers then hopefully that will keep Vinny from drafting anymore.

you have to argue that MM has made a name for himself in the last 2 weeks or so. at this point i dont care which of the three (DT, MK, or MM) decide to earn a paycheck.

Re: Pimp the Poll: Who has best positioned himself for a roster spot?
Marko Mitchell has illustrated that he should be on the roster. He looked very good vs the Steelers. Kelly and Thomas did not look as good as he did.
Orakpo is an animal, he will help with the pass rush in a big way ! Will Montgomery also looked good in the game as well as a back up offensive line man. Chad Rinehart looked okay as well. We have depth on the defensive line. Cuts will be tough here and two cut players may get picked up by other teams unless a trade is made to another team. TE - Robert Agnone could be a practice squad candidate unless he is picked up by another team. Hail to the Redskins !!! |

Welcome to the Board, new guy! Did you bring pie enough for everyone? Marko, Will, and Chad have all looked good. Orapko is a beast! Kelly and Thomas are apparently neck and neck!

Re: Pimp the Poll: Who has best positioned himself for a roster spot?
Out of that list obviously Marco for the 5th atleast WR spot. Chase I think showed pretty good but will he out impress Colt? Will he pull from the coach's who already have an allegience toward Colt? Possible we go with an all youth QB club and cut Collins? I doubt any of this happens. He did look better then Colt though. Heck he looked better then all the QB's. Calm, poised, decisive, read the defense quick, and man can he run fast. My last man standing sadly is my man Mason. I keep hoping he will crack this team. Also Dorsey looked awsome. A nice change of pace back.

I could see Marko being a "Colston" type player... Big and great physical attributes

Marko is cool, now only if Thomas can step up his game we will have a great WR corp for the first time since the posse.

Re: Pimp the Poll: Who has best positioned himself for a roster spot?
I'm on the Mitchell bandwagon. Could be a real nice find by Vinny and co. When was the last time we saw a wr for this team catch a jump ball in the end zone?? I want to see more of this guy!!!! Hell put him in with the starters this week and see how he responds.

Re: Pimp the Poll: Who has best positioned himself for a roster spot?
I know Im gonna catch some crap for this but.....he reminds me of Randy Moss a bit, without the attitude. Not sure if its the height/weight similarities, or maybe the #84(Vikings), but Im loving the fade in end zone.

Re: Pimp the Poll: Who has best positioned himself for a roster spot?
He has a similar build to R. Moss no doubt. If his skills are just a fraction of what Moss has he could be a good WR.
