Yeah but the second half of the season is brutal for Washington. 4 of the final 8 games are against division opponents. The toughest being back to back road division games at Philly and at Dallas respectively.

Then after playing very physical games in that back to back stretch, come home to FedEx to play Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.

A bright spot in the second half of the season is the last regular season game. With the AFC West being so weak, you can expect that San Diego will have locked up that division by week 17 and will rest their starters in that last game.

And with all the teams in the NFC East tracking for a Wild Card, that could be the decision maker for the Redskins. Make those games against the the weaker teams in the AFC West count (Oak, Den, KC), split division games and if SD does rest their starters in that last game, you could be playing for a wild card spot in week 17.

You are correct about the latter half of the schedule being tough. But we won back-to-back games in Philly and in Dallas last year.

Re: NFL predictions

You could just throw the Cowboys in at 12 wins and put the Redskins at 6 and even out the average a bit.

If it looks like a homer thread, then there's enough room for everyone.

12 wins, yeah right.

Cowboys 9-7 + or - 1

I think that is the safe bet for every team in the NFCE. One team will win more than 10 but who knows who the heck it'll be.

I wish we played in the AFC or NFC west, so easy.

Clayton thinks we'll do well too....

Majority of people I've heard think we'll go 8-8 again, best case scenario

Clayton almost always has around 10-6. Collinsworth had some nice things to say about us too. Wilbon has us at 10-6

Re: NFL predictions

thats whats up...I f#*k with Collinsworth...he is a fresh prick but he knows his stuff

Wilbon is a hack in my opinion...I grew up reading his columns in the post every morning...never cared for him...especially after hearing/seeing him on tv
