Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Cutler sucks donkey balls. You can see all the INTs right here. I don't how anyone can tell me they weren't all on him. Perhaps the Broncos WR made him look better than he was?

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Denver never really had great receivers for him either, but he had a really dynamic TE, and a fantastic OL. He's got a patchwork OL in Chicago.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Ill give you the last one after the low snap that was a bad decision, one was just a middle screen gone bad and a great play made by the Dlineman.. the other 2 looked like he was being forced to throw with defenders on him. which was most of the game, even the good throws he made he had guys in his face bearing down on him.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
I'm sorry, there's really no amount of excuses that can make up for a 4 pick day. At one drive, he threw at least 2 or three consecutive passes that were picks dropped by Packers defenders.
The Pork Chop Express is not going to be leading the Bears to the promised land any time soon. That guy would have been a disaster here.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Cutler had a terrible game...but i still would have traded whatever it took to get him. Writing off Cutler after one game is just as bad as all the people on here writing of JC after one game...

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
I was shocked watching that. He threw three passes in a row that were dropped by the Green Bay secondary, then got some kind of penalty to get them a first down. Then he threw one that was actually picked. He looked incredibly stubborn with the ball. I'm willing to bet that's about the worst he looks all year though.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Maybe its not our seasoned vets that are the problem and just maybe its the person throwing them the ball or in some cases not throwing them the ball. I'll have to say its was nice to see him play poor which I never which anything bad on a player it would just hurt to watch if he was playing good.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Brandon Marshall, Eddie Royal, and Brandon Stokley may not be great but they sure know how to play at a high level. Oh and I'll take Greg Olsen and Desmond Clark over whatever the Broncos have. BTW who is this dynamic TE you speak of?

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
Not writing him off after one game, I've written him off as being better than JC with his poor decision making that resulted in 18 INTs last year.

Marshall's kind of bad, at least in his go-to receiver role. He's too young and talented to write off, but he's completely undependable. I like both Royal and Stokley, but in the same way I like Randle El and James Thrash.

Re: Cutler Sucks Donkey
@saden - Cutler threw to Scheffler and Graham at TE last year (2008 - combined 72 catches, 1034 yards, 7 TDs). And while neither of them are Gonzalez, Gates, Witten or Cooley, they match up well against Olsen and Clark (2009 - combined 95 catches, 941 yards, 6 TDs).
And even with Cutler's blunders, Chicago was in it until the very end thanks to the D that lost Urlacher for the year. Dom Capers really has the Packers D running on all cylinders, and if Rodgers can get the gun honed down, that is a solid team that could go very deep into the Playoffs, especially in the NFC North.

How the heck do you give up on a screen? One of those INT's was thrown to an offensive lineman on an inside screen play. None of the interceptions thrown were "spectacular" by the defense. Hell Cutler hit each one of them right between the numbers, almost as if he was targeting them. |
