Last season, when all seemed lost Ramsey would still gut out a blitz or pass rush (sometimes for too long). I haven't seen anything like that from Brunell.

Might as well toss him in there so he stink up the joint and we can call for his head and beg for Hasslebeck.
I agree it's not all on Brunell (Portis, the O-Line, Bugel and Gibbs deserve some blame).

I also WANT TO MAKE VERY CLEAR that I don't think Ramsey is going to be our savior this seaon. But, I do believe Ramsey would've produced a better record for us by now than Brunell has.

The seasons done. Put Ramsey in and let him get a lot of practice.

Hasselbeck sounds better than either one of them!

Ramsey, no doubt. Unfortunately it is not going to happen. Gibbs is going to stick with Brunell to the bitter end. This could be his first double digit loss season as a coach.

There's no way we can salvage anything from this season but our pride and some understanding of where we are headed. If Brunell can't get it done at 34, do you think he'll be better at 35?

Ramsey may or may not be the ultimate answer, but I KNOW Brunell is not our short term answer, or our long term solution.

I still can't believe we didn't score a single point on a unassisted (resulting from a TO) drive.

I think Brunell doesn't have confidence in his arm anymore

Gibbs will make a change if he feels it can benefit the team, but that's the question right now, does he think Ramsey can do a better job??

I'm gonna agree and say we cant pin it all on Brunell, because alot of guys arent doing their job. While its not completley his fault, I'm going to say bring in Ramsey. Brunell is just not comfortable whatsoever. He is throwing duffs, and just thorwing on the run, not setting his feet. I mean, hes gonna get drilled no matter what, so he has to suck it up and just stay calm. I agree with your last quote too, because thats whats gonna happen as soon as Ramsey has a bad game. Personally, I wnat to see Ramsey in because I think he can lead this offense better. I dont know, I just think Brunell is washed up, hes deifntley not the same anymore.

if we're gonna spend the rest of this season hammering out the offense regardless of winning, shouldn't it be with the qb that will be playing next season?

I disagree. I am not in the DC area so could not catch any of the post-game, but I can almost guarantee there will be yet another, "Mark played his guts out" from Gibbs.

Gibbs shelters his players, so I would not expect him to call a guy out, but to keep praising Brunell for playing his guts out, is a bit much. Brunell has been instrumental in lossing each of these games.

It is only now after this last debacle, that more people on this forum are begining to call out Brunell. 83 yds passing speaks volumes. As does his constant happy feet, he does not plant and throw.

There was a special on one of the pregame shows a few weeks back highlighting McNabb, who made of point of saying that his improved accuracy was due to better footwork and using his lower body in his throws. If a strong armed quarterback like McNabb has to use his lower body, is anyone going argue that the same does not apply to Brunell?
