Re: Who would you get rid of for 2010?
With our current team state I think it'd be best to list who you wouldn't get rid of.

Yeah he did but under Al Saunders offense he could actually coach that system he was in for 40 years.

And Zorn.....? No worries he'll never make it here long enough to see 2010. My guess is he'll by outta DC by the end of this month.

Re: Who would you get rid of for 2010?
Exactly. Moss is unquestionably the most talented receiver we have. That said, he's also increasingly inconsistent. You look at teams like the Giants who have thrown their young WRs into the fire and it's paid off in terms of development. The young guys can't get better if they don't play, and if Campbell's reads on every play are 1)Moss, 2)Cooley and 3) check it down to Portis, Kelly, Thomas and Davis are never going to be more than what they are right now.

As much as i dislike JC, i hope we use first pick for OL. Landry can improve and is still young, on the fence about seeing what we can get for him. |

Re: Who would you get rid of for 2010?
Really? I'm itching to see if Snyder will pull the plug on Zorn mid-season, but I don't think he will. I think if this ship is gonna keep sinking, it's gonna keep sinking with Zorn at the helm till the end of the season (or very near it)

Re: Who would you get rid of for 2010?
I would love to see us package Portis and Moss and ship em to OAK for their entire draft.
Then we could get another shot at sqandering two whole drafts.

Re: Who would you get rid of for 2010?
And without the physical tools that Jason Campbell had, he found a way to make this team a passing threat. Just because he was in the system for so long ? He had the same O-Line that JC couldn't play behind, the same receiviers that JC had, but he was successful. Defenses, especially the defenses that we played toward the end of that year counldn't take advantage of him.

Re: Who would you get rid of for 2010?
I know I'm going to get bashed, but assuming this yr is a bust and DS decides to finally call his "one player away" a failure and go "Rebuild" mode.....I'd blow up the team. Especially if there is no CAP.
J.Campbell Collins Portis Betts Cartwright ARE Moss Yoder Rebuild the whole O-line starting with extremely large, young, healthy players. We have a good start with the D-line just a tweek here and there, then bring in more LB's and Safeties. My concern is also that keeping anyone from the older systems might carry over the club med attitude which I would like to see gone. Get a tough coach and players willing to work hard. Not just say they work hard. |

Re: Who would you get rid of for 2010?
portis -- isn't worth the BS... and i'd rather have a back who is dangerous catching the ball out of the backfield and breaking off a big one than lighting up blitzers, as cool as that is..
carter -- forget orakpo at OLB... put him at RDE and send carter on his way... i'm not down on carter as many are, but he's best days are behind him and orakpo is better... r. thomas -- why did we think he'd make it through the season? rock -- i like his heart on special teams, but he keeps a roster spot from someone with more potential... he is what he is... wynn, daniels -- not sure why we signed wynn anyway... god bless daniels, but he's past done... get jarmon in there as much as possible at LDE... rabach -- he's way over the hill... collins -- surprised he made the roster this season... i've never liked him... |

Moss I think is cut out for a #2 WR right now, sometimes I'm left questioning his effort. I'm ready for a real #1 WR.
