Edwards sure looked better and happy to be out of Cleveland. Maybe a change of scenery does Quinn good.

I agree, but can he survive our dysfunctional franchise?

Re: Trade Deadline Approaching; Any Moves?
If it's Chucky, he's sold on Quinn, and approved the trade, yes. If the HC is Holmgren, yes.
Current coaching structure......is there a smiley for a gun to the head? LOL

My preference would be for them to keep all draft picks. But if Gallery, or a similar player, could be had for a late round pick & they can start this year & next, I'd have to say that's decent deal. Of course, it perpetuates the old fa/ lack of draft picks & youth, but it's still possible that such a move could help. I would agree w/you on gallery if it weren't for the level of dysfunction going on in Oakland. Randy Moss looked washed up there & they traded him for a 4th round pick. Was that a good deal for NE? I don't know if Gallery can play anywhere, but I think there's some chance that he could go elsewhere & do alright. |

I wonder what we could get for Portis?
We shouldn't settle cheap for him. But maybe we could get a decent draft pick or two for future building.

I bet DS & VC would be interested in Quinn. Hope they don't offer too much.

Supposedly Quinn is "on the market."

They've definitely been interested before. Can't imagine they wouldn't still be

Re: Trade Deadline Approaching; Any Moves?
I want Snyder to see that we're way past saving this season with a deadline trade. If anything, we should look for opportunities to stockpile future draft picks. Perhaps Carlos Rogers to a team desperate for a starting caliber CB.

Id like yo trade zorn, cerrato, jc and Heyer. All for a 7th rd pick because that's what's their worth!
