Re: Russ Grimm our next coach?
To be honest I really don't want to think about another coach until the "little man" get's his act together. If Zorn last until the end of the season that's more time he has to come to his senses. The booing Sunday coupled with some of the fans displays is making him take notice. Russ Grimm is a good man, but this is not the place for him under the current structure.

Let our new GM Chris Polian choose his coach.

Re: Russ Grimm our next coach?
Some people are good at what they do
Zorn was supposedly a good QB coach for quite awhile Grimm has .. well I don't know, because neither Pittsburgh or Arizona have been known for their O-Lines with him there I don't know what people know that I don't that makes us believe that he'd be a good OC or HC.. I haven't seen a single argument yet other than him being tough and won't take any shit, so why wouldn't we want Gruden? You don't hire an O-Line coach as the HC to improve your O-Line, just as you shouldn't hire a QB coach as the HC to improve your QB |

Re: Russ Grimm our next coach?
Russ Grimm could work here...if he gets the same support staff (proven successful Front Office Exec, proven successful playcaller) surrounding him, much the same way Miami has done for Tony Sparano. But otherwise, why give up a guy with no playcalling experience just for another guy with no playcalling experience?

Re: Russ Grimm our next coach?
As with all "who should coach" arguments, one needs to ask who the GM(-ish) person is.

Re: Russ Grimm our next coach?
The question is not who we want, but rather who would be willing to take the job at this point? We are at a level with the Raiders right now in terms how we are viewed organizationally by the rest of the league. We are a joke. A laughingstock. An object of ridicule and derision. A disgrace. An embarrasment. A scandal. A disaster. I don't think Grimm would work for Snyder. That is how low we have sunk. The Bidwell family are better employers than the Redskins.
Remember we probably don't hear about the people they have contacted or made overtures to who said, "Are you kidding..." and then just hung up the phone.

Re: Russ Grimm our next coach?
I agree 100%. But that would be in an alternate reality. It would make perfect sense which doesn't really factor in with the Redskins organization in the last 10 years. Our new OC is some dude that's been outta football 5 years? And was a bingo caller? COMEON MAN!
