This is what Peter King had to say why he thinks Gibbs can't WIN A SUPER BOWL: "When Gibbs left the NFC East, he was a better head coach, clearly, than NFC East peers Rich Kotite, Joe Bugel and Buddy Ryan. He's not smarter than coaches Andy Reid or Bill Parcells in today's NFC East, and divisional cohort Tom Coughlin is a pretty bright football guy. Gibbs won't win this time around because he's outcoaching his division and his league. He needs excellent drafting this time around, which Washington just doesn't have. "
What is Peter King SMOKING?? How can he say Joe Gibbs is "not smarter than coaches Andy Reid or Bill Parcells in today's NFC East, and divisional cohort Tom Coughlin is a pretty bright football guy"??
He makes some good points but some of his assumptions about Joe Gibbs are dead wrong..

screw that free agent stuff I want to keep this team the same as much as possible. keep brunnell as a back up for ramsey. Put the youngster in and let him get used to the offense and have the confidence of the starting job.

I guess King forgets that Parcells was coaching in the NFC East the first time around with the Giants and some guy named Tom Landry was coaching the Cowboys. And oh yeah Buddy Ryan's Eagles weren't exactly pushovers either.

he mentions kottie and bugel but not parcells or landry?? man, dude is high on the good stuff... its not like buddy ryan was a dolt either... didn't marty and bellic work for him?
