Re: skins v chargers
Are you saying they are not going to show the game or might switch at some point over to that game? They switched over once back in the early 90's and had so many mad phone calls switched back to the skins. Even last year they thought about not showing the game to sho the Dallas/Philly game but too many people complained.

Re: skins v chargers
I'm hoping to see my old teammate Charlie Whitehurst get a few snaps at QB. I personally thought though that this game was an automatic win for the Redskins but it seems like thats not the plan for San Diego.

Re: skins v chargers
DT and LL won't even be making the trip. Smoot (and maybe Holmes) to be likely to play opposite Kareem Moore. Rocky and AH are still questionable. Edwin Williams will start at RG.

Re: skins v chargers
What in the past two games makes any of you think that the Skins are capable of scoring more that 6 points. Skins 21 points?.......Skins 20 points?....Skins 13 points?....... "child please"
Skins: 6 Chargers: more than 6 Next season can't get here soon enough! Happy New Year!!!!

Re: skins v chargers
Why can't I ever make myself accept hard-core reality? There's nothing that makes me think we have a chance in SD, but (for whatever reasons') I cannot with a clear conscience pick pick against the Redskins.

Chargers - 31
Skins - Who the hell knows anymore, we can't even be counted on to put points up on the board every week.

Re: skins v chargers
Chargers need to keep momentum going into the game. A two week layoff for their starters isn't good going into their playoff game. They will build a lead and then rest them, but those guys need to stay in a rhytm like LT said. Don't want to be flat come playoff time. It would be nice to see Norv giving Danny the finger. Norv's firing is what caused all this shit, meaning it set the nasty precendent for the next decade after his canning. Would love to see SD win the whole enchilada also, so Norv can really tell Danny boy where to stick it.

Why the animosity towards Norv? The poor guy is the one who originally got the shaft from the Danny and he still had a winning record when Danny boy axed him. Like him or hate him, the way Danny fired Norv paved the way for a decade of shitty Skin football. |

Hey what's up Gus ? No dislike for Norv , would just like to see a win , Norv was a Cowboy before a Skin , nothing personal .

Re: skins v chargers
Why the love for him Gus? He was here for 7 years and took us to the playoffs ONCE. He was 49-59-1 in his career here and was 7-6 after starting off the year 6-2 when he got fired. Nothing special unless you're satisfied with mediocre football.
