Do you all want Anders Beutel to return? Maybe a poll.

I voted no but I'm sort of on the fence about him. He has been such a distraction at times it's easy to become discouraged about him. There's a possibility he could still be productive in a lesser role but the problem is, will they be willing to pay him what he's owed for lesser production. If I were forced to not straddle the fence I'd say no.

If everything else were equal, I would say bring him back.

But the opportunity to dump his bloated salary in an uncapped year is too great. I say send him packing.

I would like to see him gone but is that feasible. Unless another team is willing to accept him in a trade, the Skins may be stuck with him.

Yes.

If we were on the cusp of the playoffs I might want him back to share carries, but on this team what's the point? Id rather the reps go to our young RBs whoever they may be.

I accidently hit yes. Yes I want him gone next season. Either that or I want someone to control him. It's either or. He can't be allowed to cut the coach's and players's legs out from under them. At this point in his career I don't understand why you'd keep him anyway?

thats the biggest thing TTE.....he is physically done. I don't like him at all but i felt bad for him week after week going out there like he still had "it". His career is over...just like Shaun Alexander.

Sorry about that. I just realized the Poll title is not the same as the thread title. Since a lot of people have already voted I will change the thread title to hopefully avoid further confusion

I am waiting to see what Shanny decides. I have confidence in what I heard from him. He is evaluating the situation, analyzing, and unlike Zorn actually knows what he is looking for. If he is not ready to produce he won't be here. I take performances under Zorn and then skew them sorta like the Doppler effect in Astronomy and Physics. Except I call it the extra medium effect. Zorn and Jaws are garbage. Steve Young laughed on those two monday night games, he thoug,ht the whoe situation was funny. you could see the embarassment on the players faces they knew that garbage so called offense was not gonna work. They knew the play caller did not know what he was doing. Portis called it early "genius" BWAHAHAHAH!.

Whether we want CP back or not, he will be a Redskin one more year. He collects 7 Mil next year from the Skins whether he plays for us or not and nobody will want to trade for him. You can still hang on to your # 26 jerseys one more year!!!!!!!!!

My question is simple. After all Portis has done, throwing teammates, and coaches under the bus, now attacking Jason Campbell, and the fact that he refuses to work out, practice, attend team meetings, or participate in OTAs.....Do you want Portis off the team next season?

I vote yes.
I think Portis is a flake and isn't well spoken and he's very selfish/self centered.

He and Jason have already patched things up.

And at the end of the day a healthy in shape Portis is our best RB and is still a good RB in the league.

And imo you don't let talent walk. (especially when we're paying the dude)

I think we should draft a RB in the later rounds 4th and down.

But we should bring Portis back and if doesn't produce and isn't a team player we just cut him.

I wonder whether they really have patched things up or just removed the conflict from public view.
