Ummmm....I'm so confused.

Gibbs always had great assistants. Most of the assistants he has now are the same ones he had during the glory years, and the new ones are guys like Gregg Williams, Greg Blache, Earnest Byner.

Mark is the only guy on the field that really wants it. That is awesome. Do you realize how much money you could make off this ability to tell who wants it? Front offices around the league would kill to have someone who could tell them "who wants it" by watching a game on tv (or even in the stands). What exactly is it that only Brunell really wants? And if it's a win, which is what I assume you're talking about, how can you say that no one else wants that? And you have to do more than just want it. I want to buy a house but it's not going to just magically appear.

Hello guys this is a desperate 2-5 team, these are the kinds of things you have to do. Going for it on 4th and long, trying a squib kick, etc.

I'm all for trying anything to give the team a spark. When it pays off you're a genius, when it doesn't everyone is an armchair QB who has the ultimate gameplan/starting lineup that would lead us to 16-0.
Interesting games let's contrast Gibbs and Parcells.......Parcells being embarrassed over the team's losing streak threw everything at the Lions...trick plays etc. Meanwhile Gibbs goes plain Manila. Now it could be due to the new offensive linemen and TE. But especially coming off a bye week I expected more innovation. The defense was short handed and didn't give up and grabbed some turnovers to help the offense. Maybe Williams needs to try his hand at offensive play calling (just kidding). But I wouldn't fire Joe just give him more time and a draft................be patient it will take another year before we can see a big improvement.

Actually, I liked the Onside kick. I liked it alot actually. You could see that we caught a ton of those guys offgaurd, and the one guy who we didnt catch, was in the right position. I'm not gonna get on coach about that call, I really liked it.

First of all the season is not over until you play your last game. That's coming from someone who pulled for Rickie Harris and Norman Snead as a kid. What I really want to talk about though is simple mechanics. Over the middle passes are sailing high and gonna get some gifted receivers hurt. I don't know, but am I releasing the ball before it clears the top of my shoulder and not allowing myself a proper follow through with my body behind it or what? Man this thing the skins are going through is no cause for alarm unless Brunell is an old dog.

i think marcus washington had the onside kick... he got his hands on it, but couldn't scoop it up... it wasn't really a bad call, but i think the execution could have been a bit better.. coulda, shoulda...

The onsides kick was a great call, but it was unfortunately also a great heads-up play by the GB player that recovered it.

ZackMills: Mark was the only one that wanted it? Mark who??? Because I KNOW you're not talking about Brunell. How about Smoot, Springs, Gardner, Portis, etc..... This (and all of the rest of the losses) were not from lack of effort, just lack of execution (a lot of which by Mr. Brunell....none of the receivers are 7 feet tall) and some bad luck.
