Re: Warpath Mock Draft 2010 - Grade the Draft
hahaha nobody here is going to say Dallas had a nice draft hahahaha..... if things go this way for Dallas it would be a perfect draft.... got all needs and got 1st round value in the second round and second round value in the 3rd so overall perfect draft.... would had prefered Earl Thomas to Mays but still huge upgrade.

Great job Sammy. Even though I didn't participate in the drafting, this was a lot of fun.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft 2010 - Grade the Draft
9 - Bills: Buster - Rolando McLain, ILB, Alabama
30 - Bills: Buster (from Vikings) - Colt McCoy, QB, Texas 93 - Bills: Buster (From Vikings) - Ciron Black, OT from LSU 20 - Texans: Buster - Earl Thomas, S, Texas 51 - Texans: Buster - Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech 81 - Texans: Buster - Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan 23 - Packers: WaldSkins - Kyle Wilson, CB/KR, Boise State 56 - Packers: Buster - Jared Veldheer, OT, Hillsdale College 86 - Packers: Buster - Thaddeus Gibson, OLB, Ohio State *I did not make Packers 1st-round pick, took over for 2/3 I addressed team needs with all, but I think my Texans draft was the most sucessful. Solid players at all 3 picks who can start and contribute. Their D is solid other than a weak secondary...not any more. They could have one of the better defenses in the league after I fixed it. Also, they need another RB. The Bills did well also I think, hitting 3 major needs. I'm not completely sure about Colt McCoy and was debating to take him or Tebow, but he should be an upgrade over their current QB mess.

Can't argue with that in a redskins board... but I do believe Dallas will finish either 1 or 2 in the division Dallas has it's team intact and will get an upgrade through the draft. The problem is that the whole NFC is getting better... you have Minnesota (if they still have Favre), Green Bay, Maybe Chicago, New Orleans, Carolina and Atlanta plus the NFC EAST which is also very high... The West is a Joke but getting to the playoffs will be hard this season specially as a wildcard team... I can easily see a 10-6 team not making the playoffs this year |

I mean put it this way the Redskins only lasted half a season after Gibbs left and leaving Vinny to call the shots with essentially a puppet coach. The Cowboys on the other hand have lasted 3 years and counting using a similar method. Also keep in mind that now with the Saints winning the Super Bowl Parcells has 3 coaches from his coaching tree that have won at least one Super Bowl.

Re: Warpath Mock Draft 2010 - Grade the Draft
Dirtbag not really... Yeah Parcell was great to this franchise specially to Jones it showed him how to do things right and take away some of his GOD complex he had... Like I do believe both Shanahan and Allen will do to Snyder.
The scouting department put in place since Parcell left it's great and Jerry tends to really more on them. After Parcell left we have had very good drafts, getting Spencer, F.Jones, M. Jenkins,O. Scandrick, T.Choice, M.Bennett (still a project) the 2009 draft wasn't good at all but it's to soon to tell if something will stick... But Dallas has been really good at developing young talent resigning their own young players and getting good quality FA for cheap... Like Brooking, Sensabaugh and Olshansky and been great on getting and developing talent via the Undrafted FA.. Austin, Hurd and Ogletree. The only really bad move the team has made since parcell left has been Roy Williams we all know it and it sure did hurt our draft last year but I do believe this front office has learned and it's doing a much better job that before Parcell left... but to say Jerry will never learn it's like saying Snyder will never learn. This team it's built to compete for the next 5 years if things keep going in the right direction and we don't screw up... we have a great young defense and offense... the oline needs to get younger and need more weapons at WR but no huge holes in the team. |

Re: Warpath Mock Draft 2010 - Grade the Draft
Of course i liked my Patriots draft ,was surprised CJ and Cody fell as far as they did. And thought there was good vaule with the other two picks.
22 - Patriots: halodoc - CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson 44 - Patriots: halodoc - Demaryius Thomas, WR, Georgia Tech 47 - Patriots: halodoc - Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama 53 - Patriots: halodoc - Rob Gronkowski, TE, Arizona I also liked the Cheifs , thought good vaule ,they still wont be playoff bound though. 5 - Chiefs: WaldSkins - Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma St. 36 - Chiefs: WaldSkins - Jerry Hughes, DE/OLB, TCU 50 - Chiefs: BHA - Ricky Sapp, DE/OLB, Clemson 68 - Chiefs: BHA - Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech The Steelers were good too ,Tebow pick could go either way but Haden and Tate very soild picks. 18 - Steelers: GTripp - Joe Haden, CB, Florida 52 - Steelers: GTripp - Tim Tebow, QB, Florida 82 - Steelers: GTripp - Ben Tate, RB, Auburn Also liked Rams,Bills, Giants ,and Texans. And thought that the biggest chance of a bust draft was Seattle ,Jimmy and Bruce could go either way. 6 - Seahawks: redskins5044 - Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame 14 - Seahawks: redskins5044 - Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland 40 - Seahawks: redskins5044 - Kyle Calloway, T, Iowa
