Re: The "almost" Times Square Bomb
As someone who is in Times Square a lot, and whose wife passes by there almost every day...this is scary stuff. I'm glad nothing happened and I hope the suspect is caught soon

If you work anywhere near any major city you are not safe. I almost want to say places like Times Square may even be a bit safer, have to think there is add security there. The person probaly have more luck in a less of a "hot spot" area.

Re: The "almost" Times Square Bomb
Well he got the truck into the time square and if he had built a better bomb the results would not have been good. Time Square is not safer because they cannot serch ever veh. that enters the city so its only a matter of time until someone pulls in with a truck blows the hell out of a place like time sq.

What's wrong with the world when people want to kill someone over a cartoon?

Im offended that yahoo wanted me to watch an ad prior to seeing the video. I mean cant they employ some discretion when putting ads on videos. Cute puppy dogs dressed up in Halloween customs (Ad - yes). Nationwide man hunt for terror suspect (Ad - no).

Re: The "almost" Times Square Bomb
Thats how they can offer the news and the online services for free. I'm sure they offer a pay service if you don't want to watch the comercials.

Re: The "almost" Times Square Bomb
that's a weird thing to get offended to. So when you buy a newspaper you don't want ads in the A section, or when you watch the 10 oclock news they shouldn't put teasers before ads?
That is going to be a popular link, hence good ad space. (not as good as a truck though )
