Re: AJ Hawk on trading block
Fail on reading, I was saying bring V-Jax in, not Hawk.

Re: AJ Hawk on trading block
I guess what I want to know is why he has fallen out of favor in Green Bay. Not a good fit for the 3-4? Too much of a liability on the field? Coaching staff doesn't like him? I was under the assumption he was a quality linebacker, but quality linebackers don't miss games even when they are perfectly healthy. I'd take him if there's nothing substantially wrong with him and if he'd be a good fit for our 3-4 (and if we could get him cheap), but if it's something related to how he plays I'd probably decline.

Re: AJ Hawk on trading block
In FA I would take a look at AJ but GB wants to trade him to get something back out of thier investment. With that being the case we are fine at ILB to even think of trying to aquire him, was my only point. I know he has played some OLB, but he is primarily an ILB.
Do not know anything more than what buster posted about his status with the team.

Eh...might be a good back up to replace fletch or rocky eventually??
How much longer can either of them stay with this team?? |

Re: AJ Hawk on trading block
Hawk is on the block because Clay Matthews is an absolute maniac, while Hawk hasn't been able to stay healthy. Matthews is the guys the Packers thought they were getting when they drafted Hawk.

Re: AJ Hawk on trading block
I'm a big fan of Hawk but he's comparable to Rocky. The Bills make the most sense. Lynch for Hawk, straight up.

Re: AJ Hawk on trading block
Bills run a 3-4 and absolutely do not want to trade Lynch, or that's what the media says.

Re: AJ Hawk on trading block
Doesn't really matter, NT is a much larger priority for this defense and hence resources should be devoted to establishing someone at that position first.
