Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?
I agree with hall that our Nickel corner shouldn't be playing on the best receiver in the league on a crucial fourth down play.

Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?
He's pissed, blowing off steam, etc. No big deal.
I like how when guys get fired up, we tell them to shut up. When they don't say anything, we blast them for not having enough fire. |

Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?
Dear all Redskins fans,
As frustrated as you are that we lost, imagine what the D feels like. I invite all of YOU to STFU(as someone else so eloquently put it). Thank you D Hall for caring. Sincerely, Not saden1 |

Still corners are getting danerously close in personallity to their wide reciever counterparts. Actually if anything they've surpassed them. Part of that might be because a new breed of receiver has emerged. I rarely hear T.O like quotes from Andre, Calvin, Fitz, Boldin, and Wayne, even our own Santana stays quiet. We also saw Randy Moss not lowering himself to trash talk when Revis called him a slouch. All the while it seems like more and more trash talk is coming from corners these days. I kind of like that Hall wants to do this, but he probably could have gone about it more tactfully. You don't really need people to know this on Monday, rather let the week develop so by the time the game rolls around on Sunday the announcers know and inform everybody watching. Then again how about we just go do it without any talk. Send them on a Hall-iday without making a big fuss to the media.

Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?
one thing I didn't like is when hall said "One guy caught a pass on my side". That is basically a low blow to Rogers and Buch..

Re: D Hall stepping up as a leader?
we all know damn well it's not his defense, but it doesnt have to be "his defense" for him to be a leader nor does he have to be the best player on the D to be a leader. Rock was a leader on this team for years and he was not the most talented guy on the team or the most publicly vocal. i like him getting fired up though, he's mad about the game like he should be. i would be too if i were him, he should have been covering Andre... not saying that Buch did anything wrong that play, (who knows, as we don't know the play call. lord knows if he didnt come off andre to watch the underneath stuff that would've got them a first down we'd be ripping him a new asshole right now) but D Hall is our best corner and has played like it the last two game. however, i wouldnt have gone to the media like this... but my opinion of him doesnt change because of this. all this has done is made him put his money where his mouth is. he's ready for a challenge and ready to go and there's nothing wrong with that, i like it. all eyes are on him now.
on a side note, and i hate to go here... but just imagine if we had 21 back there with Laron
