You're kidding yourselves if you think I'm going to make any comments on my colleagues looks or their personal lives

Re: ESPN E:60 (Dan Snyder)

^^ You know. I bet that's actually a real pain in the butt sometimes. It's one thing for guys to pump you for inside info on sports/info when they find out what you do. Do you get a lot of "Is she really that hot" or other questions about the "Sideline Hotties" from guys?

Not sure if this counts as one of those type of questions, but - how do these women deal with that kind of scrutiny? I mean they must know that, at some level, there is a lot judgment going on in the audience as to their "hotness" level. Is there a "professional standard" on how to deal with it? Or do they each take a different approach to it?

I mean there are certain rules in place, but it's really up to each person how they handle it. They know that there are those that don't respect them, think that women have no place in sports, judge them by how they dress, call them "whores" without reason, etc. For the most part though, that lack of respect doesn't come from inside the sports/media world. It's not easy to do what they do, and some are clearly better at it than others.

I actually think the female sideline reporters are really good at what they do. It's a good mesh and women in sports is always a plus. Tafoya, Nichols, Andrews are all some of the very best IMO.

Re: ESPN E:60 (Dan Snyder)

I thought that was a very well done piece... then the 30 for 30 coming up at 8, looks great. I pull for the Yanks, but I'm very interested in that piece.

Don't forget Pam Oliver. All of those girls are HAWT!!!! Lol, kidding, but yeah they are very good at what they do.

On a side note I always thought Rachel Ray would make an excellent sideline reporter.

But I mean all that's pointless. We've already found out who Smootsmack really is so further speculation is pointless and stupid.

I just wished that Smoot ordered stuff off his computer. Then I could buy myself that Dirt Bike I've been looking at on E-Bay.

Re: ESPN E:60 (Dan Snyder)

Ended up watching this over the Caps special because I recorded it, now I wish I had recorded the E:60 instead. Excellent piece of Snyder, really don't understand why people dislike the guy so much.

Glad to see someone come from nothing and go big, always love that storyline.

I, to speak on my behalf, didn't like Snyder for many many years, but then he finally got the message last year that you can't buy yourself a championship in professional football. He realizes that and wants to back out the player side of the business and is going to let his football people take care of that stuff, he'll just deal now with writing the checks. I like him now, because he knows he was wrong before, and he is trying to fix that.

Well the piece isn't going to make him look like a dick. It didn't talk about the things that made a lot of us dislike him. But it does look like the guy has really grown up. And you've gotta love his story. The man is a self made billionare.

Re: ESPN E:60 (Dan Snyder)

My wife, a lifelong cowboys fan, teared up watching that show. She now likes Snyder. Ironically, I was more stoic about it. I mean I liked the story & I've even liked the danny some, but I think there's probably been some good reasons that people have disliked him so much over the years.

He admitted to mistakes in the show, hopefully he's become honest enough w/himself & those around him to realize his limitations. It does sound as if that's the case, I recall J. Reid writing in RI that since Allen has been on board Snyder's office is no longer open to players. This isn't the first time the danny has ceded control (see the Marty experiment), but it definitely feels different & he has the advantage of experience now.

On a more positive, seeing the world through burgundy colored glasses note, that show really made me feel that Daniel Snyder is destined to hoist a Lombardi in honor of his dad.
