we have to keep our qbs, for cap reason. We cant afford to cut brunell as much as you might want to do it. We have to hope that Ramsey continues to grow and becomes a starter. Either way we cant get a QB this year.

I also think its stupid to trade Samuels and Gardner, whats the point of this move. In my opinion all that does is give us less consistency, which is our greatest weakness. We dont need to go sign superstars, we just need to play as a team. I hope we have alsmot all our starters return, with mabye a key free agent signing on the dline, and then a top draft choice be a backup, mabye a midseason starter.

All if we still have Vinny as GM
Gardner will still be here unless we draft Mike Williams Ramsey will be traded with a second round pick next year for phillip Rivers of San Diego Brunnel will sadly be here Barrow will be here Morton Cut Smoot here Wynn Gone Chris Hovan signed to come here Bowen gone Clark resigned long term Pierce resigned long term then traded for a pick Ray brown retire Samuels Resigns for cheaper We'll draft either Cadillac Williams, a explosuve gaurd, or good DE or a big play tightend Strong Safety drafted in the third. We'll do something stupid though like trade Smoot and a pick for Ty Law or something like that. u never know with the skins

Samuels will resign at a cheaper price.
We wont draft a HB, no matter who is available at our spot We will use our first round pick on a Dlinemen if theres a stud available. We'll draft a corner back in a later round for depth. Smoot definitly gets resigned I didnt hear anything about hovan but that woudl give us two stud DTs

I hope we don't get a HB but whether u want to realize it or not Portis has goten more less and less reps in the game. I believe Hovan is in a contract year and he doesn't even start for the vikes anymore i've heard. The drafts first round won't be on d period because we overachied this year it will be an offensive player most likely an o lineman.
As for smoot I want nothing less for him to resign but we all know he has been on the trading block before and i could see them doing something similar to what they did to the fullback Johnson last year. but I hope not

I don't think the press helps either. There was a time when changing all your coaching staff, your QB, HB etc. etc. was reason to belive there would be a downturn in performance on the field untill everyone got on the same page.
Maybe it is the rise of the cinderella teams like the Raiders, Panthers and Falcons that has changed perceptions but I still say and will always say these things take time. We could still finish with a better record than last year. "if you can keep your head while all around people are loosing theirs then you should land your helicopter somewhere else next time" |
