I have blind loyalty for Joe Theismann. He can do no wrong in my eyes. I can see how one might not like his analysis..i'm ok w/ him though.

Why must you love every single thing about a former Redskin to be considered a true fan? Do you have to be blind and without opinion to be a true supporter?
That wasn't what I was saying but is it that you have to hate everything to be a fan now ? Isn't that how things are ?

I'm not saying that everything has to be rah rah rah but,.... hey man you all know more than me.

Re: Joe Theismann Strikes Again...

Two things how can any Redskin fan hate Joe T and how can any true Redskin fan like to hear Moose or Troy whine when the Skins do win a game? Joe was tuff QB and I would take him any day.

Love Joey T. for everything he did for the Redskins, especially being part of the 1st SB. Who gives a shit about what he does on TV, he's a football player.

Hope not. Summerall is a suck Cowboys fan. Sits in Jerruhs box for home games.

Re: Joe Theismann Strikes Again...

I like him on NFL Playbook but he has the same problem a lot of former players have in the booth: he talks way to much and walks all over the play by play guy.
I like Aikman as an announcer (though it pains me to say) but Moose is one of the worst on National TV. I understand that he loves Jerry Jones and Emmit Smith, but does he have to bring it up every game? He consistently gets players names wrong and the occasional misunderstanding of rules is really annoying.

Re: Joe Theismann Strikes Again...

Jay Cutler is very similar to Jeff George. A miraculous arm with questionable judgement. I thought the analogy was spot on.

Re: Joe Theismann Strikes Again...

No disrespect to the person who posted this OR to the topic but this is EXACTLY why the Redskins need to start making the playoffs on a regular basis. As fans, our off-season is so long we constantly find ourselves reaching for stuff to talk about other than actual football games. I'm sure Steelers fans don't talk about the BS Terry Bradshaw has said on Fox...nope they're completely focused on their team beating Green Bay and winning another championship.

Again, I mean no disprespect to the person who posted this at all. Just sayin I'd rather be focused on actual Redskins football games.

Re: Joe Theismann Strikes Again...

I got the feeling SC wasn't surprised that JT compared Cutler to Jeff George, but that he thought it was a positive thing

Re: Joe Theismann Strikes Again...

At least some of Cutler's teammates got his back. No one gave a shit about George.
