Re: 2011 NFL Uniform Thread

I would like to see a change to the uniforms. Personally I like the throw backs we used in Spurriers first season here. THe spear on the helmet, goldish pants, burgandy top. THose looked really cool to me. THe same ole uniforms are getting old when all other teams are using some sort of throwbacks. I hate the Pats, but when they wear those throwbacks from Grogan days they look freaking awesome.

Gotta love the B&G! Gold pants and burgundy jerseys at home. Burgundy pants and white jerseys away. Helmet is nice as is.

Re: 2011 NFL Uniform Thread

I was angry when they used the white pants with the burgundy tops last year. There was no reason to not use the gold, unless the plan was for special occasions. Texans, were not a special occasion, but they wore the golds in that game.

I also thought it was unnecessary to wear the gold pants with the white tops.

Please no more white on white/burgundy on burgundy.

I love them just the way they are. They're classic to me. I grew up in the late 70's and 80's......I grew up with those uni's

Agreed! In white on white we look like a bunch of ballerinas. In burgundy on burgundy we look like discolored turds.

White jerseys with gold pants were ballin'... And I don't like to use the term ballin' very much.

I HATED white-on-white from the first time. I did not care that we don 5 straight to make the playoff in them...I didn't like the look.

Burgundy-on-burgundy...I always wondered what it would look like and just wanted to see it once. I didn't mind it, kinda liked it actually but it's not something we should wear regularly.

My favorite combos are burgundy-on-gold and white-on burgundy.

Throwbacks, Uniform Design Changes in the Works for the Seahawks - Field Gulls

Seahawks planning design changes and throwback for 2012's Nike changeover. Considering they've really only had 2 basic designs/schemes...the Zorn era shall return. I prefer the old look to the new multi-blue mess.

I just hope Nike doesn't go all Oregon Ducks on the Seahawks...I could see them having fun with this team above any others.

Re: 2011 NFL Uniform Thread

Old news but new to this thread: Denver FINALLY returning to orange jerseys full-time in 2012!

Paige: A time to reap rewards with Tebow under center - The Denver Post

Long overdue, they should have never abandoned the Orange Crush.

Seahawks are the owners of one of the ugliest set of uniforms in league history. The only one I can think of worse then the throwback Seahawks is the Orange Tampa uniforms (Phillies blue and brown was pretty bad but thats a different sport).

Either way Nike knows what they're doing with their jerseys so I wouldn't object to an Oregon style makeover even though ironically the Seahawks now have one of the leagues better uniforms.

Re: 2011 NFL Uniform Thread

I LOVE the TB Creamsicle set. They need to being that back full-time. It's a great, unique color scheme to sports. So is Pewter too I suppose, but those bright orange jerseys with a white helmet and red mask...awesome.

You're right about Seattle owning the ugliest uniform ever...their current mess. The Zorn/Largent/Bosworth set would be a massive upgrade.
