It's going to be very easy rooting for this guy.

I like both his work ethic and attitude. The two combined will help make up for any deficiencies he may otherwise have.

You gotta understand there are going to be people who say "he's a lazy bitch" just like I'm sure you were not the only one who looked at the comment and said "wow, he's thinking about his mom and helping her out because of all the yrs she helped him are now finally going to pay off." I look at it as the latter but.....

Nothing can be accomplished until the new CBA is in place so he might not see the money until season starts or close to it when he won't be able to go on vacation because he's having to work twice as hard studying the play book because he has less time then players usually get to study and practice. So although he has good intentions he might want to check the idea until the money flow is actually coming in.

Re: Redskins 2011 Draftees

I know the team is not supposed to talk with players but I hope the team either invited some to camp when ever that is or plans to...

NFL.com news: Devlin tops list of best available undrafted players

National Football League: NFL Draft 2011 - Terrence Toliver

National Football League: NFL Draft 2011 - Ricardo Lockette -I like the comment about him being one of the fastest at 6-2, 211lbs and maybe they could work on his hands and dropping the ball.

National Football League: NFL Draft 2011 - Joe Lefeged -I'm not saying he's great or anything but he was a K/P returner in college and was used to ***block kicks*** we could use that on special teams.

Jerrod Johnson-http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/jerrod-johnson?id=2495181

Jeff Van Camp-http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/jeff-van%20camp?id=2495358

At the time he said it, the doors were open. I think that tactfully he could have said I'm gonna go in as long as the doors are open, and get my Mom a much deserved vacation. Point is, with everything swirling it was a simple rookie faux paus.

Looks like Neild's strenghts are suited to be a space eater, which is a good thing in the 3-4.

Not that I'm proud of it but when I first saw pictures of him the first thing that came to my mind was something to the effect of "wannabe gangsta" that will probably be arrested at some point. I was pleased to learn that he as a hard working blue collar type guy that loves the game and has no history of run ins with the law unlike other West Virginia players.

And who cares if he looks a little scary, maybe thats what we need from a guy playing quite possibly the dirtiest position in the NFL. I think at worst we get a guy thats like Chris Hoke on the Steelers.

The defense should be much improved this year. We already got better by leaps and bounds once Kemo and Golston were replaced by Holliday and Bryant late in the season and teams didn't have the luxury of running away from the one bright spot in Carriker anymore.

Carriker-Bryant/Neild-Jenkins should help improve this defense further. Especially now that guys like Holliday and Daniels don't have to forced to do more then should. And who knows maybe we'll also end up with a healthy Kemo. Jarmon developing would also be a bright spot.

Either way I think Neild will be one of my favorites on this team.

Royster TD run.
I like how he breaks out of a log jam and sprints out.

Re: Redskins 2011 Draftees

The Royster pick may prove to be a valuable one come mid-season. I watch alot of PSU games and the guy knows how to be productive. Doesn't wow you, but he gains yards.

Helu looks like a home run threat. Team him with the bruising style of Torain and we may have a pretty decent run game in 2011.
