Re: NFL Top 100
Cooley 60-70? I'd be surprised since 2011 wasn't one of his most productive years.

Re: NFL Top 100
I'm pretty sure they said McNabb was the only Redskins that made it.
Being that they all work Sundays how much football can they actually watch? Fletch deserves to be on there somewhere especially if Jasin freakin Babin made the cut. |

Re: NFL Top 100
I searched for this on google and couldnt find anything. Does anyone have a positional breakdown of who made the top 100 (or team breakdown)? I know nfln has mentioned some of the positions, like they said there are only 6 safeties.

Re: NFL Top 100
If it is true that D.M is the lone Skin on the list then I am surprised that Orakpo, Fletcher or Landry did not make it, but I can understand not having Cooley or Hall on the list.

Re: NFL Top 100
Chris Cooley was on NFLN last night, and they said that McNabb was the only skin on the top 100...
I completely disagree, Orakpo should have been on their, as should either Fletcher or Landry. NFL Videos: Cooley: McNabb won't return

Yes he had an average line at best, and yes he didn't have a bunch of pro bowl receivers, however there still should be a floor for someone as good as they claimed McNabb to be. A truly elite QB worthy of the top 100 would have at least thrown for more TD's then Int's and wouldn't have thrown bounce passes on third down during plays where he was protected. Someone could easily salvage McNabb's career but I'm pretty sure that if Brady, Manning, or Rodgers played for this team they still would have posted respectable numbers.

Re: NFL Top 100
It is the top 100 players in the NFL. Not the top 100 in the 2010 season. McNabb has done more in his entire career on the NFL football field than any other current Redskin, regardless of how bad his 2010 season.

Those were the criteria the players had; who did the players think were the top 100 players IN 2010. Much as I respect the guy, he was no a top player in 2011. It's even sillier when you consider that guys like Matt Schaub and Eli Manning were left off the list, despite playing better, posting better stats, and in Eli's case, having a friggin' Super Bowl ring. It's a huge slight that a guy like Brian Orakpo, who's gone to two straight Pro Bowls wasn't on the list by McNabb was. Same thing with London Fletcher (who, by the way, also has a Super Bowl ring, which McNabb does not have) and Landry, who was on his way to the Pro Bowl before he got hurt. For frak's sake, VONTA LEACH IS ON THE LIST! All he does is lead block! Mike friggin' Sellers had a better stastical season than him! But the only Redskin on the list is McNabb? That's ridiculous, bad season or no. Oh well. One more reason for Rak to be pissed off and rip some heads off next season... |

Re: NFL Top 100
I think Defensewins is right. It's the top 100 players that are active today. Which can be vague, but it's not limited to 2010

Then again part of me thinks they do stuff like that on purpose. As getting a bunch of people to say "that sounds about right" doesn't create as much buzz as "they left who off the list!?!?!?!"

Sorry I had you on my block list. I just couldn't take it after I saw you were against the War on Drugs.
