Re: Redskins-Steelers (Preseason) Post-game Thoughts
I see a lot of o-line was good commentary on this thread -- watch the film, Will Montgomery against Casey Hampton was a joke. If Hampton hadn't left after the first drive, Rex would have been buried.
I am still worried about the interior - it's just the first preseason game but we're not out of the woods yet

Also keep in mind Hampton is a perennial pro bowler that I wouldn't be surprised to see beat guys like Matt Birk and Alex Mack throughout the year. Anyway, the play by play videos are coming so as usual everyone else will get a chance to judge for themselves. Bottom line on Monty is this though. He was nasty, fierce, got to the second level when he needed to, used his hands well, and more times then not gave Rex a pocket to step into. I only remember seeing 2 (maybe 3 at most) where I didn't like what I saw from Monty and that was in 2 Quarters of football with at least 30 snaps.

Re: Redskins-Steelers (Preseason) Post-game Thoughts
My biggest concern is the cb situation. We really should have extended Rogers. Def think we need to draft a cb with our first pick next year if grossman emerges as a legit starter.

Corner situation will improve when our prized safeties are thrown into the mix. Or at least Atogwe seeing as how OJ is among the better cover safeties in the league.

What he is here is a good scheme fit. He's not aggressive, but he'll stay over the top, keep the game in front of him, and be in position to make interceptions off of deflections. He's a huge tackling upgrade over Kareem Moore.
