Thanks man, all good stuff for sure, but i think my favorite video was Kerrigan. Guy has switched positions and hardly practiced and looked pretty solid!

Dirtbag - like always good videos
I think Kerrigan will be good, especially with an improved and revamped defensive line. He has some work to do though, going by what I saw of him. Where he needs improvement the most is on running plays, where he overruns and gets pushed by the lineman past where the running back is going. I don't think I'm explaining this clearly, but a good example of this was Pittsburgh's touchdown run.

He clearly has some natural pass rush ability that if he keeps improving with, along with his other skills, can potentially make him a great player. And with it being this early in his NFL career, I feel good where he's at.

... and thanks Dirtbag for putting these videos together.

Awesome, thanks for doing these videos. Didn't get a chance to see the end of the game and good to see Clemens. Seems like Rex was much sharper.

Hope Hank the Tank starts catching the ball...

I can see Helu and Hightower as a one-two punch killing defenses for years to come, especially if our line stays sound.

Re: Game Tape: Preseason Week 1 vs Steelers

Thanks for the compliments though but don't be afraid to give some constructive feedback. Particularly on the Grossman video. I mean granted different positions warrant different editing styles, like in the Carriker video I would cut the play sometimes even before it ended because the point of the whole video is to showcase Carriker and seeing a pass thrown incomplete downfield is a waste of time.

However on the Grossman video (and any QB video in particular) sometimes I feel like I could show less of the in depth replays and make them more bang bang (Clemens video is kind of like that because in the second half of preseason they could care less about breaking down a lot of the plays).

I guess my question is are you guys liking the post play replays on the QB videos as well as the additional commentary or would you rather it the editing be more play cut play cut play cut, etc?

I like the pace of the videos the way they are, but what ever is easier man. Also I think you need to throw in the occasional talk bubble thingy, like when you had Rexy say "F&*( Im going deep."

I like the replay as it is easier to see the action more clearly sometimes than the regular game footage.

From the Pittsburgh side, how is Byron Leftwich not starting somewhere? You mean to tell me he's not better than Alex Smith?

I think the redskins broadcasts, themselves, have horrible camera angles. I want to see all 11 defenders or offensive players at once. Also its preseason and they don't have the big bucks for all the angles I guess. JT announcing is very annoying too.

Beyond that the videos you've put together are awesome. Nice that you are splicing an hd recording too.

I agree but I also believe he's injury prone. He won't last a whole season being the starting QB. So at this point he's a nice back up plan.

Re: Game Tape: Preseason Week 1 vs Steelers

Thanks for the videos DirtBag -- everything looked pretty good considering it was the first preseason game. If we just start punching those TDs in after driving 80 yds, Shanny is going to have a tough time handing the starting job to Beck.

The RED-ZONE execution is once again a big concern but it is just Pre-season game 1. It was a breath of fresh air to see our backs moving in such a quicker pace.
One more troubled spot that I saw, was the miscommunication between Josh Wilson and the safety after Wallace flew down the sideline.

I would agree. I absolutely freakin hated the screen pass call on 2nd down the first team, first drive. I dont effing understand why Kyle go more aggressive down there, everyone knew Pittsburg was gonna bring 2 blitzers every down in that sequence. Kyle needs to grow a pair, split 4 wide and move Rex to shotgun let him read the d or at least make them react.
