Ironically has also been the head coach of the ravens, so spot on observation. It all makes sense now.

Man, this isn't working out as expected. Was hoping for more critical discussion of the said pundits and /or the team. I just think the bad rap is with the QB situation. NFL.com fantasy doesn't give Beck much love either.

Re: Skins ranked 25th in Foxsports.com 1st season power rankings
Power Ranking threads generally aren't successful. Because when we're ranked low it's media hatting...and when we're ranked high (as in the fall of 2008) these rankings are the freakin' gospel

You're not likely to find intelligent discussion about that, especially considering we're ranked so low. Even if we were ranked in the top 10, I wouldn't care. They are just made to create discussion. It's always the same discussion though. If your favorite team is ranked low, most likely the discussion will be about why the teams play the game, because words mean nothing. If your team is ranked high, the discussion is probably going to be about what a boost of confidence it is (Not that I would know, considering the Skins have been ranked 10th or higher probably like 5 times in the decade I've been a fan), or how we think we could beat (Insert Contender Here) because we're ranked higher than them (which I don't think people would be stupid enough to actually think that, but you never know). Either way, my entire point is, power rankings are stupid. And that's the only argument you'll get out of me. There used to be a time when I was young and naive enough to care what the power rankings thought (check the threads I've created over the years for an example or two), but I'm a little bit older and wiser now .

The Sex Cannon is loaded and ready to bombard Fox's headquarters.

PFT has us at 31. They hold the most stock IMO because they have respected experts such as Mike Florio.

i'm just offended that the 49ers and Seahawks are ahead of us....but T Jackson was a phenom in the preseason!
PFT 31st rating....clearly hasn't watched or payed any attention so .....it all has no meaning anyway |

I love the lack of respect. It equals motivation for our guys. Let everyone underestimate us....I hope they laugh at us all the way to the playoffs.
