Abraham was cleared to play yesterday and didn't because he is a free agent to be and didn't want to get hurt apparently. We don't need a guy like that.

On the one hand I agree with you that DS merely did what just about ever coach wishes their owner would do-get the talent they want, no questions asked.

But on the other hand, Snyder is essentially the father of this redskins family. And as the father, he has a responsibility to say no sometimes and not just cave in to his children's every wish

I don't think laying the blame on Snyder is entirely unfair. Over the last 10 years, the only common thread in the Redskins organization has been Snyder as far as I can tell. I think that while we don't hear about Snyder meddling in personnel affairs, I'm pretty sure it goes on.

I hope we dont sign any Free agents to a contract worth more that 2 million per year average.

Seriously resign our own guys. fill in the spots of the players we lose, and draft to fill the holes.

Abraham is injured to much for my liking. Will not be worth the money he is going to want.

I really dont want any big name guys to come in here. We really dont need any that would be avalible so why bother. I just want to see our guys get resigned, get a new center and better wideout, and move on with life. The only guy who would be considered a big name that I might want here is Plexico Burress, and even I think he'll be asking too much $$ so lets just build through the draft and get some continuity.

I agree - if we can find young hard workers that will be getting cut due to salary cap restrictions I think we should grab them - the Marcus Washington's. Plax wouldn't be bad either if he is affordable.

I think that's been the general consensus is that Plaxico would be the best off-season pickup IF we were going to go the free agent route.

I agree with the other opinions that we do need to get a solid center. We don't really need any all-pro (even though it would help) just someone to be consistent.

We have our early draft pick to address either the WR spot (if Plexico is asking too much or is unavailable) or to address the DE position that we need.

Maybe someone out there has a young center that has gotten himself in the dog house, and we can ship them one of our WR's that we plan to cut.

I don't even think with Gardener and McCants combined value that we could get a decent starting center. So far, it seems like the nature of the market is not being kind to either of the two.
