How in the world did that happen?
Maybe the Colts want Doug Dutch?

Re: Around the NFL Week 14
A friend of mine tried some hallucinogenic drugs the other day and reported seeing unicorns riding down 95, but I don't know whether to believe him either. I haven't seen a single news report on it yet!

Re: Around the NFL Week 14
With our current team? Absolutely not. Had we been the Vikings 2-3 years ago? Definitely.

Re: Around the NFL Week 14
Yeah, Ive heard that too. I dont think Peyton leaves the Colts and I dont think Luck deserves the treatment he will get which will be the same treatment Rodgers got in Green Bay. Luck needs to play now period. He is ready. Peyton is gonna want a contributor with that first pick, and people who think he doesnt hold any influence in that team's decision making is flat out foolish. Colts are gonna end up auctioning the 1st pick for 2 first round picks at least and a couple more. I dont think the Colts will move out of the top ten, because they are gonna want a good player.

Re: Around the NFL Week 14
That's the rumor
On a related note, I feel like people didn't really read Matty's hypothetical

Also, I read the hypothetical. I still don't believe we are 1 QB away from being contenders.

Re: Around the NFL Week 14
I'd rather pick our Qb for the future instead of bringing in anyone for the end of their careers.

If you could be guaranteed 3 Peyton Manning like years (assuming that year isn't 2011) I'd certainly have to consider it. Plus, in his hypothetical he's not saying we give up our 1st rounder so you can get that stud rookie QB AND get Manning. I mean it's just a hypothetical but interesting none the less. More likely we'll re-sign Grossman and draft a rookie and/or we may go after a backup currently in the NFL. A lot of people like Flynn, but as I've mentioned before I think Hoyer is going to be a hot commodity.

Re: Around the NFL Week 14
Yes, but only if it can be done without using this years 1st round pick. This is a strong QB class and we have the opportunity to get our long term answer at QB. I love Peyton but I am more interested in a long term fix. Manning for a couple years while RG3 learns the system is nice though...
