THAT's right. I forgot why he was injured. That knee was what eventually was his undoing right?

Definitely Westbrook. When he came to DC, he said he would put up Jerry Rice numbers...but as Kornheiser would say....he put up Condoleeza Rice numbers instead.

I don't remember too much about him, I just remember he was cut as hell. Too bad he didn't pan out. At least drafting has had much more success as of late: Ramsey, Taylor, Cooley, Arrington. The past few years have brought a few above average to excellent players to the team.

He could have at least confronted him face to face instead of sucker punching him. Nobody deserves to be sucker punched, well maybe Freddie Mitchell! LOL

I agree the Westbrook was a bust, but the jury is still out on Gardner. For the Skins, he hasn't worked out, but I'd like to see what he does for the remainder of his career before calling him a "bust".

Westbrook was a textbook definition of a bust. A very high pick that amounted to nothing.

Gardner was a mid 1st rounder without a whole lot of big expectations and although his Redskins carreeris a bust I guess it's a little early to lable his whole carreer a bust. I do think he will be a bust when it's all said and done.

Westbrook was definitely a bust! Very Very high expectations for him and now look at 'em! Gardner has just been a disappointment. He didn't have the reputation as being the next Michael Irvin or Jerry Rice as what the sports media had billed MW as! However, since Gardner's rookie season, he has progressively gotten worse. Maybe a change in scenary will do him some good!

Mr playmaker himself

No one in their right mind could ever think that Roddy is anywhere near the spectacular bust that was the 'vette driving, 15mil a year making, self-nicknamed "mr. playmaker himself." If it were'nt for Heath Shuler and Desmond Howard, Westbrook would be a strong candidate for worst Skins pick of the 90s.

Worst pick of the Skins in recent memory, OL Andre Johnson picked with the 30th overall pick in '96.

If I remember correctly he didn't even make the team.

Anyone here remember Walter Berry back in 1985?....yeah, no one else does either

Though I think he may have been a second rounder, but he was the Skins top pick that year.

It's amazing how people can see such promise in a college player and not even make it on a pro-team.
