This is fun 8-8 this is my pre-draft prediction. I wonder what I'll put after the DRAFT.

Rookie QB, new wr's, questionable o-line, weak secondary, tough division....this is still a 5-6 win team. I don't expect to see improvement until 2013.

24-0. We're sweeping the pre season too. And then our whole team is going to represent the NFC in the Pro Bowl and win that too

I loved that in Madden. I used to send like 23-25 players to the Pro Bowl every year. When all the starters came out, every player had a Redskin helmet on. This was before they switched to a generic NFC/AFC helmet for the PB in Madden. It was a beautiful thing lol.

Re: Redskins 2012 Standings - Predictions

God, you all are such a pessimistic bunch!

It's now or never for Shanahan/Shanahan/Haslett. I think 8-8 would be the expectation, but I wouldn't be stunned if they went 11-5. If the issues in the coaching staff are fixed, anything is possible. The schedule doesn't make it easy to get to the playoffs, but I think that this team is really live in the NFC East because as tough as it is going to be for the Redskins to win 9+ games against a tough schedule, it's going to be even harder for the rest of the division to get to 10+.

The future is now.

Re: Redskins 2012 Standings - Predictions

Way too soon to make any sort of predictions. Still have a ton of FA to go with the June 1st cuts coming and then we have the NFL draft at the end of this month. Lot's can change and probably will.

Re: Redskins 2012 Standings - Predictions

I have had no real expecations ever since the disastrous 2006 season. But truly I have not even half thought about it since about 2007 when Todd Collins took us to the playoffs. Last year I believed Rex Grossman could win 9 or 10 games.

I believe with a rookie QB, we are probably a 5 or 6 win team. BEST CASE SCENARIO would be 8 wins and maybe sneaking into the playoffs. We are still a little ways away from having a year in year out competitive team, but they are heading in the right direction with RGIII and let's see how things shake out after the draft. We aren't going to do jack diddly without a good O-Line...

8-8

Unless RGIII can take to the offense, REAL fast, I think it's gonna take another year to work out the kinks.

Re: Redskins 2012 Standings - Predictions

I dream of the year the Redskins win a Super Bowl. Hopefully it'll be before I die. :/ Are we getting close to being a playoff contender yet?
