Kyle Shanahan
AFAIC he hasnt done squat yet in the NFL. I'm also askeered he'll have no idea how to use RG3.

Well no $hit. Mike and Kyle need to man up, coach up and beat their azzes. And that goes for the NFC in general.

Kyle Shanahan
I think becasue SS was so pumped about him coming which got me pumped and he has at best fizzled since he has gotten here. He was some real talent this year lets see if he makes it happen.

Re: I Want ----- To Shut Me Up In 2012
I would say D. Hall. Runs his mouth too much and thinks he is way better than he has actualy played on the field. Made some bonehead moves last year, and ELITE corners go unnoticed when they guy they are covering is kept quite.
As far as hearing Shanny's (both) and Haslett being mentioned. Shanny has put us in a good position by bringing in young talent in basically two years. Put us in position with potential good RB's, WR's, TE's. Youth on defense. Kyle's success is directly related to the talent on the field. Grossman held that back last year. He ran a very successful offense in Houston when he had the talent. We seem to have the talent this year, so I suspect we'll be much better on points scored. As far as Haslet....I just dont get where people are upset with the guy. He took a D that ranked 31st in the first year of a 3/4 switch all the way up to 13. Let the league in 3rd down stats most of the year, in the top (near) most of the year in sacks. Had a depleted secondary for the majority of the season. If anything, I think Haslett has proved to be a damn good coach |

Re: I Want ----- To Shut Me Up In 2012
Great thread! And like someone said the team needs to shut EVERYONE up w/ excitement and wins.
But it really starts at the top, and this is a make/break season for Mike and Kyle in my estimation. I hope they have the offense so finely tuned and explosive I'll look like a fool for ever doubting. It starts w/ how they work w/ Griffin and does he look confident in the system. Griffin is the future i.e. it's paramount we have a coaching staff in place that will maximize his talents, abilities and overall potential. If the Shanahans don't make serious headway w/ Griffin's development this season it's absolutely critical we find coaches who can, because I think we all see his potential.

Re: I Want ----- To Shut Me Up In 2012
Orakpo. He gets a lot more praise than he deserves. He's not very good in coverage and when he rushes seems to have one, fairly ineffective, move. I think he's being misused as an OLB and is a legitimate all-star at 4-3 DE. I want to see that he has made strides to improve his pass rush skills to be able to regularly beat the LTs in this league. We can say he gets held all we want, but it obviously doesn't get called -- it's time to switch it up.
If our defense is going to be electric we need pressure coming from both sides.

I second this. I am sick of hearing that we are headed in the right direction and blah blah blah, I want to see results.
