If you really have any concern, yes you're nuts.

Another punter or kicker tomorrow or Saturday too.

Their fans seem to want Barron but he won't be there for them to pick.

I second this. I wasn't as immersed when we drafted Howard or Shuler who I think are the only players remotely comparable so for me this is the biggest draft moment ever.

Re: 2012 Redskins Draft Day Thread: Round 1

Without a doubt this is the most excited I've ever been for a draft. And yet, I have to keep reminding myself, it's not just about having a franchise quarterback too. He plays a large part in the equation of winning Super Bowls, but he is not the be-all end-all of winning in the NFL. Which is why rounds 3-7 are just as important.

Summo sent me a couple yesterday... I'll put them up tonight or tomorrow.

Thinking about making them available to premium members only for a while. Membership has it's privileges.

Re: 2012 Redskins Draft Day Thread: Round 1

I'm excited right about now. This day took so loooonnnnnnnnggggg to come. The draft is finally here. The reason the Redskins had to give up two 1st round picks is because Matt Barkley decided to stay at USC. If he declared for the draft, the Redskins would have been able to pick him at 6th overall. But it didn't happen that way. I'd rather have Griffin III anyhow.

Am I the only one that sees the problem here?

Tonight when the Skins make their pick, I will eat three red grapes to commemorate the occasion.

Then I might just pound a few brews to celebrate! Hail to the Redskins!!!
