Okay Samuels is getting 9million this year or somewhere about that 6 million is dues this year the SB portion was paid years ago. If he restuctures he will get another major payday this year and some security. If you make a habbit of cutting players who restructure right after they restructure then it will send out baaaaaad signals .

The players, the agents and the teams know the contracts are only strucured in the way they are to fit in with the NFL rules. It would be nice for the players to see the money they were promised but then you wouldn't see contracts nearly as big or as long. After all who is going to shell out on a player big time over 7 years if he gets injured in year 2 and never starts again.
