Re: Breaking it Down - Skins @ Giants
I think we fared well against the Gmen last year because they overlooked us both games and because our defense has typically performed best against less mobile QBs.
Gmen WILL NOT overlook us this game, and I expect Eli to be dead on. Our defense needs to play its best game of the season (so far) to win. We need to pressure Eli consistently, and I hope Haslett plays Lorenzo even more this game to help with pressure. The secondary needs to challenge NY WRs on every play. Beat em up, wear em down. So what if we blow a play here and there, we're going to anyway, right? Offensively, I'd like to see Mike and Kyle bring a more traditional offense than we've seen so far. While I am amazed by Robert's speed the more he carries the ball the higher risk of injury. We have the most accurate passer in the league!! Put a scheme together that allows him to get rid of the ball quickly and minimize hits.

No maybe it's right because he fumbled at the goal line when PG recovered it.

Re: Breaking it Down - Skins @ Giants
But that wouldn't count as lost would it? We recovered. What's confusing is that as a runner it is listed as fumbling 3 times, but only losing one. But under passing it's listed as fumbling 2 times, and I guess he lost both? Does anyone know how many fumbles he actually lost?

Re: Breaking it Down - Skins @ Giants
And one was a TD called a fumble. He should have one more TD than he does too.
I still say he was over the goal line on that one.

Re: Breaking it Down - Skins @ Giants
At New Orleans
1st and 10 at NO 19 (Shotgun) R.Griffin FUMBLES (Aborted) at NO 24, and recovers at NO 24. R.Griffin to NO 24 for no gain (S.Shanle). At Cincinnati 1st and 10 at WSH 39 (Shotgun) R.Griffin sacked at WAS 30 for -9 yards. FUMBLES, and recovers at WAS 29. R.Griffin to WAS 29 for no gain (M.Johnson). 2nd and 7 at WSH 23 (Shotgun) R.Griffin sacked at WAS 19 for -4 yards (C.Dunlap). FUMBLES (C.Dunlap), RECOVERED by CIN-C.Dunlap at WAS 12. C.Dunlap to WAS 12 for no gain (A.Morris). 1st and 10 at CIN 17 (Shotgun) R.Griffin FUMBLES (Aborted) at CIN 20, recovered by WAS-B.Banks at CIN 18. B.Banks pushed ob at CIN 12 for 6 yards (R.Nelson). At Tampa Bay 3rd and 5 at TB 9 (Shotgun) R.Griffin up the middle to TB 1 for 8 yards (M.Barron). FUMBLES (M.Barron), recovered by WAS-P.Garcon at TB 0. TOUCHDOWN. Well that's his 5 fumbles. He has only lost 1, and 3 came in the Cincinatti game. Hasn't had any the last 2 games, so hopefully it's a learning curve thing. But I am sure NY is going to be going for that swat the ball motion, to see if he holds on. |

Re: Breaking it Down - Skins @ Giants
JPP told the NY press that RG3 better not run his way!
Why make a statement like this? It could motivate RG3 and if RG3 does rip off a nice run in his direction he'll look stupid. It's a lose lose statement in my book. Keep your mouth shut. |

It's going to be a very long day for Tyler Polumbus. They had better make sure to get him some help.
