Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6

didn't kerrigan also have a couple tackles for loss? He played well today. RG3? Well, what can you say. He IS our franchise moving forward.

Bottom line, we beat the snot out of a team we were supposed to dominate. When Vegas has the redskins more than 3 point favorites, then the other team is usually not too good. That said, its good to win a game convincingly, kinda forgot what that felt like. Hopefully, this is the turning point in our season, as the NFCE is wide open, the cowgirls get beat by the browns hopefully, and the eagles are officially out of it. Hopefully the GMen can suffer a defeat soon, and we are right back in the thick of it. Good win redskins!

Is Josh Wilson OK? Is Merriweather really done?

Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6

BTW - Even with RG3's numbers, there were plenty of negatives to take away from this game offensively. Without the 20 and 15 yard runs, Almo would have been averaging under 3 yards a carry, and even with them he was only averaging 3.8 yards a carry. The stupid penalties will lose the game for us against better teams, and the offense looked choppy. We got good pressure on Foles, but it didn't look like it took much to rattle him anyways. Defensively, its hard to find any negatives with how the team played, holding any NFL team under 7 points is a top notch feat. The offense, even with the perfect passer rating, looked the weaker of the two groups today, and hopefully we can tighten it up before thanksgiving, and rout the cowbitches.

Hail.

Merriweather made a difference in the secondary, even though it was against the rookie back up qb, he made few good tackles on McCoy as well.

Edit: Forbath definitely need to work on his kick off kicking

Rumors of the end of our season have been greatly exaggerated.

Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6

Best part of the game was Has modifying the gameplan mid-game. After the screen was killing us he switched to more zone and fewer blitzes up the middle. Screens became losses and their receivers couldn't get open. All around great defensive showing. I kept expecting one blown coverage resulting in a long play and it never happened.

This was our first playoff win. That's the way the 'skins have to look at it. Kind of glad the Cowboys won today, because it sets them up nicely for a huge disappointment come Turkey Day!

Defense played 100% better with BW out there, and I hope he can play Thursday.

This offense is schemed to help RG3 be successful, and it shows just how important Shanahan has been in developing RG3. A lot of just straight drop back plays were missed and not thrown by RG3 today, and I think his ability to move the pocket helps him and we need to keep doing it.

RG3 and Kerrigan get my game balls.

Kerrigan had a sack, FF, and FR.
The offense was good enough to beat a horrible team. It would not have been good enough to beat a good team. Still too many wr screens and option plays.

Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6

Overall a good game, defense gets credit, RGIII was great, he benefited w/ 3 TD's from Eagles horrendous coverage and tackling.

Things of concern that need fixing ASAP:

Penalties, I thought they were focusing on this during the bye week
Special teams coverage
Questionable play calling by Kyle
Screen play defense (they finally adjusted somewhat)
