Re: Redskins v. Dallas Turkey Day Edition Predictions

If there is one player on the team that could be the key to the defense making an improvement, it's Jarvis Jenkins. He's been like a ghost all season, yesterday I saw him either cause a fumble or recover one (can't remember) if this guy was to make a push on the line it would make a huge difference in my opinion. I hope what I saw yesterday is the beginning of regaining his old form.

Something is wrong with Jenkins. He's either not in game shape or simply hasn't regained his form from before he was injured. ACL injuries are tough, and I should be okay. Perhaps he's not still 100%.

He also was involved in a sack with Josh Wilson, by far his best game and hopefully something to build on.

I didn't get a chance to see the game yesterday. I'm really big on J.J. Jenkins no doubt will be back to his old self by next year's training camp. But in all honesty a long look should be given to Chris Baker. At least for now.

On the flipside, I can't wait to see how the Cowboys use Ware to Griffin, it will be fun watching RG3 run from him. This aint no Rex Grossman this year cowgirls!

Re: Redskins v. Dallas Turkey Day Edition Predictions

I would also like to add that it sure if fun to read the opposing teams fanboard and hear what they like to say:

Cowboyzone.com

"If we couldnt get but one sack against Brandon Weeden, what makes you think we can muster up any against Griffin? He will shred us."

"Prediction ... RG3 starts his owning of the Cowboys game 1 ... goes for about 4 TDs. Final Score 35-17 Redskins.
How bad do you think RG3 wants to play well ... this is national TV ... thanksgiving ... Jerry's Cathedral. This will be an RG3 Love fest by the end of the game."

"Just two weeks ago they hung a wopping 13 on the Panther, and lost.
I'd worry more about the rookie RB at this point."

"When did the Skins get so good? Reading this thread you would think they are 10-0 at this point. Bottom line is they suck! They put a beat down on a team that is mailing it in with a lame duck coach and a not so good rookie QB, good for them.
This week they get the beat down has things start to come together for Dallas. 31-13 Cowboys!"

"i predict that rg3 will make our stupid, undisciplined players look even more so."

"I don't think I've ever seen such pessimism on this forum. Okay, so Washington beat Philadelphia and RG3 threw 4 td passes. Philadelphia QB turned the ball over on his own 9, his own 14, and the Redskins 19 (this one while the game was close.) If Vick had played, Philly would have probably won this one."

"Cowboys lose by 14 if they play there best or lose by 30ish if they play like today"

In summary a lot of Dallas fans think they're going to lose to us. For every 5 Skins win comments, there was 1 Cowboys will win. I'm just even more excited for this game!

That was fun to read thanks. I only remember Foles turning it over once deep in their own end, did he do it twice?

I hate to pin the hopes of the game on RGIII's shoulders, but it is what it is. I will say that he seems to love the pressure, and big time games, so I am expecting to see plays that just make your jaw drop, DWare may not ever want to face him again.

If I'm Dallas, I put Ware on the left side for the entire game facing Tyler Polumbus (the human turnstile). If they do, RGIII will be wearing Ware on Thursday unless the Skins give Polumbus a lot of help (which causes it's own set of protection problems).

Re: Redskins v. Dallas Turkey Day Edition Predictions

Wow, interesting comments from the Cowboys fans. I tend to agree with their assessment. RGIII owns them this Turkey Day. Jerrah has a huge meltdown and in the offseason spends much of Dallas's resources to try and stop him only to fail miserably.

Re: Redskins v. Dallas Turkey Day Edition Predictions

The Cowboy killer comes alive and Moss has his best game of the year. Morris has a great day running and RGIII makes enough plays to have the game put away by the forth. We also sneak Cooley out for a 5 yrd TD catch.

Skins 35
Dalls 10

Re: Redskins v. Dallas Turkey Day Edition Predictions

I felt really good about this game before I knew Meriweather was def out. I don't think we're as good as we looked last week, or nearly as bad as we looked the two weeks before. Dallas is struggling, I think Rg3 is going to play lights out... and I have a good feeling The Skins' will pull it out in a close game. 31-26. Still really worry about our defense though.
