Re: 2013 HOF Inductees announced
Why? Leslie O'Neal isn't in the HoF and has much better stats than Haley. A few other DEs out there with better stats and not in the HoF. If they aren't, neither should he.

Stats don't always tell the entire story. His impact on the teams that won the superbowl was immeasurable, if stats were the only story Emmitt Smith and Brett Favre are the best players at their position ever... Look at Haley's impact on the Cowboys and 49ers and you know he is a hall of famer.

Haley was better than Ware and has the # of rings to prove it. He was an impact pass rusher with huge plays when needed, he was money. Pissing on a team mates or coaches car (can't remember which) did not help his cause. He was kind of a headcase.

No. It doesn't prove it. It only proves they were on better teams. I suggest you add up the number of HoFers on both the SF and Dallas squad Haley played on and do the same with who you want to compare him with. Not even close.

So a good player on a good team should get points deducted for being in a good team?

Re: 2013 HOF Inductees announced
O'Neal was a heck of a football player . Other than LT , I haven't seen anyone more disruptive from the DE/OLB positions than Haley. Of course guys like Dent , Dean and others were awesome pass rushers too .
