Man it's easy to forget how great a block Morgan had on that 76er. Sold the pass then sealed the outside. Just a great play for the offense overall that let RGIII really use his amazing skills to do something special. The play against NYG on 4th and 10 was great but the Minny TD run is remembered for years in the end.

Lets have some balance here. RGIII is not the only player on O making plays.

The 76 yard run by Griffin is my personal favorite, but I'm surprised no one has mentioned the ridiculous Garcon catch and run from the Thanksgiving game. The catch itself was acrobatic. Then he turned on the jets and split about five Dallas defenders for a 59 yard touchdown. All on a bad foot.

The rule doesnt apply within the tackle box up to three yards down field. It was within 3 yards but what I dont know is with it being a stretch run, does that constitute the tackle box moving with it. I am also not sure if both condition need to apply or just one, meaning outside the tackle box but within 3 yards of the LOS is still fine. It was outside of where the tackle lines up but it was cut back behind the tackle. That also doesnt seem like the full contact was the crown of the helmet to me. While he lowers his head, he makes contact with both the helmet and shoulder.

If that is a penalty, then the NFL may as well just outlaw running the ball.

In terms of RG3's passing skill set, while the Moss NYG throw was awesome... I thought the ones against the Eagles (in Philadelphia) and at Dallas on Thanksgiving (right before the half) were just amazing throws (and also an incredible job by Moss to keep both feet in).

For everything that guy did though, I think Cousins 2 point conversion was my favorite play of the year (mainly cause I thought we had no chance about 5 min before that play). I went nuts.

Re: Best Redskins Offensive play of 2012

I loved the 4th and 10 at the Giants. It brought Griffin into the Giants head, and even now players like Rolle and Osi are not willing to trash talk. The Vikings TD run, while great (and admittedly the diagram of it is still my phone's wallpaper), was all about Griffin's speed and acceleration, the 4th and 10 was about his ability to avoid the rush, use his vision, and see the field. It also was about his receivers finding open spots and not giving up on the play. On the whole, that play shows why, whether his speed is lost or not, he will always give defenses fits.

The problem with the Santana catch was that it was too good. We scored too quickly.

No such thing as 'scoring too quickly' if your D is sound.

OK kids, the word of the day is "electric".

I voted for the 76-yard run. It was downright nuclear.
