Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
If we got offered a 1st, and Robert has an injury free year (relatively speaking), we'd be fools not to trade Kirk. I love Cousins, but I don't see the point to keep him when he'll be on the sidelines 90% of the time, and we could get an impact player with an extra first round pick (assuming one is ever offered). I wouldn't trade Cousins for anything less than a 2nd/3rd.
I know you might not be getting the same level, but I think backup QB is not very hard to replace. I still think you have to wait this year (which they're obviously doing) because if something major happens with RG3, then you really need to re-evaluate the whole thing.

Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Ok guys, kinda off the wall question, but it plays into tonight's game. I had my fanatsy football draft last night and waited too long for TEs and finally drafted Fred Davis late. How much upside/downside do you guys see for him this year if he is healthy for 16 games? I'm hoping for a 700-800 yard, 7-8 TD year. Is that realistic?

Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
I guess as a Redskins fan, (not a fantasy football fan needing the Redskins TE to perform well) my thinking is that RGIII may stay in the pocket more this year, which would mean his passing stats go up and therefore his receiver's stats will be better. A healthy Garcon should get 1200+ yards and 9-12 TDs.

Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Thanks for the vote of confidence on Fred Davis. I know he and RGIII were really connecting last year before he got injuried. I am hoping he is the "bail out" receiver on 3rd down that Santana became late in the year.

i think garcon will be in the 1100-1200 range. davis should get 500-800 yards. with 4 TEs it's harder to pin down.

I feel bad for Kirk if he ends up in OAK of JAC.
Why can't we just have two great ones.

The problem will be when their rookie contracts are up. Especially when you factor in Alfmo.

Re: Steelers @ Redskins (Pre season game 2)
Excellent point. Also, "IF" KC is worth a first round pick, then sitting him is like benching a first round pick.

Or to see how Orakpo bounces back from that devastating bruised thigh injury.

That's right . . . we had like 14 official drops or something like that . . . including a couple that were sure TD's . . .

All of them but Merriweather will play tonight. Likely not very much though
