Re: Giants sign Burress

Now I can see us picking Antrl Rolle in the first or Antwaun Rogers later in the draft to battle with the big Wideouts in the NFC east.They both are big corners and can do damage with the right coaching

Philly=TO
NewYork=Plax
Dallas= Keyshawn
Washington= ????

Maybe we will be agressive for Mike Williams in the draft. One thing, I am glad we got Shawn Taylor because he has no problem smacking around the number one recievers in our division. The only player that made dicked him this season was Randy Moss and he's in the AFC now.

Re: Giants sign Burress

i was hoping to get ronald bartell from howard. i know williams can help just about any player as long as they have speed and size. and at 6'1 211lbs and runs a 4.37 40, i hope we sneak him in the third round whether we get trade gardner or not. i really hope we get a second third rounder for gardner and address CB and DE in one round. MLB and TE in later rounds.

1. Mike Williams / Braylon Edwards / Troy Williamson (dont have a problem with troy at 9)
2. none
3. Bill Swancutt DE (oregon st.)
3. (assuming gardner trade) Ronald Bartell CB (Howard)
4. Marcus Lawrence MLB (south carolina)
5. Anthony Curtis TE (portland st.)
6. Anthony Bryant DT (alabama)
7. Leroy Hill MLB/ST (clemson)

I dont recall Taylor getting dicked by Moss , if I remember correctly I saw on one play where Taylor outjumped Moss to keep him from catching the ball.

Going with Chad Johnson. Put him on a team with a decent QB and he's crushing TO's numbers.

And I agree that the way the NFC East is shaping up, a big, strong CB like Rolle might be a really good pickup. Not to mention, the more I look at the scouting reports on the WRs this year, the more I like the idea of trading down or picking up someone from a D-1 or D-2 conference in a later round. ESPN said that there could be 15 WRs taken on the FIRST DAY! With the draft being that deep I think the wiser move is to move down and acquire more picks, or spend the #9 on one of the top 2 CBs (if they are still there) and get a WR in round 3. Another option: combine our existing 3rd round pick and whatever we get for Gardner to try to get a #2, and get our WR there.

Re: Giants sign Burress

I had a dream last night that the Skins traded the #9 pick and Gardner to move up to the #2 pick to take Edwards.

I think we ought to operate under the presumption that Nick Saban isn't that stupid.

We should also assume my dreams may tend to be a little biased towards the Skins LOL

Extreme Skins has posted an interview with Cerrato. Towards the end of the interview, he said that the Redskins have no interest in moving up because after the 5th pick, the money required to sign the rookie significantly drops off. But he may be holding his cards a little to close, I dont know.

Matty...

Let's work on those dreams shall we. If this is a reflection of your subconscience desires, I suggest you go buy a Penthouse. Or just pick up SI's swimsuit issue. - Just some friendly advice from a concerned fellow fan.

"Oh yeah, oh yeah...yeah I like when you do that Danny....yeah that's it, trade up, trade up, TRADE UP!!! Oh god! I love it when you trade up like that...Ahh! you've hit the #2 spot, just how I like it"

"What the Niners took Edwards #1?! Mike Nolan you've been a bad boy. Do you need to be spanked!"
