Best news of the offseason! Chris Cooley worked out with RGIII recently and here's his report:

“It’s unbelievable,” Cooley reported. “He’s another person right now. I was like, ‘you’re running unbelievably well.’ It was silly to watch….When you watch him run, you’re like ‘You’re a freak. You’re seriously a freak.’ ”

I can hardly wait to see RGIII play again.

I read that report this morning and realized that we will have a fully functioning team this season. So that's nice.

Another year removed from that surgery he should definitely be very close to his rookie form.

I know it was questionable, and most likely for all the wrong reasons, but Shanahan benching Griffin ensured 2 things about Griffin:
1) he would not suffer a setback from a weird play last year
2) he would come in with a chip shoulder to prove something.

Both of those will serve this team very well this season.

Also has anyone else noticed how much Griffin has been written off or severely questioned this offseason? I hope that fuels him further.

Great to see Griffin at 100% and healthy. But none of this matters until the real bullets start flying and he has to throw a dart on 3rd and 9.

Had he played in those last three games, and got hurt, everyone would have went ape-shit..."why is he playing in a meaningless game!!!???"
lol. I think Shanahan served the kid well cause he kept getting the crap knocked out of him.

a slim majority of fans thought it was a petty shanahan pulling a middle finger as his adios salute ... a slim majority of fans also had written off RG3 as a bust and middling after last year as well .... history gets re-written at every turn

What about those saying Cousins was a better QB than RG3 and calling RG3 a spoiled brat.

And they will be the first ones back on the bandwagon

Even though it was quite strange when it happened I think the three game benching is going to attribute to more wins for us this year.
Shanahan is gone so there is no animosity and Robert has had that much more time to heal.

I've noticed that too and find the chatter stupid.

Gryphon is gonna tear the NFL a new one next year.
