Re: I thought the Skins were done signing
SKINZ_DOMIN8, why do you keep saying that Ramsey is our hero? I haven't seen one post besides yours that said such. We just haven't given up on the guy yet. Maybe your not interested in a little continuity, that's all we want. We want the same qb in the same system for a few years. Why such hatred toward a guy that hasn't had a chance to show what he can do once in the same system for a few years? What are you going to say next offseason if Ramsey helps take us into the playoffs?

Re: I thought the Skins were done signing
Ramsey is MY hero.
Anyway, I know someone said a while back that a lot of blame is placed on the QB. I'd really like to know who the Pro Bowl players were on offense on the teams that Ramsey has played on. Hmmm... I bet I could count those on one hand. It's all about supporting cast. I'm sure that the way Ramsey handed the ball off wasn't the reason the Redskins were losing his first couple of seasons. Could it be that there was no superstar tailback to speak of? How about when the Redskins put up so many points in Spurrier's offense? Could it be that our defense gave up many more points than our offense scored? (except with Lewis) Also, could it be that Ramsey was beat up from getting sacked every other play. If you're going with the logic that a bad win-loss record is the end-all in whether something or someone is good or not, why root for the Skins? We didn't exactly have a winning season last year.

i love how you say "ramsey has been given more chances than most qb's ever get" but he's played under two coaches with two DRAMATICLY different offensive schemes. oh not to mention when spurrier gave up on coaching with us during the 2003 season and let our OC call some games (4 or 5 i think) with another different scheme. how can you possibly hate someone who was just learning to walk and a pair of rollerblades were thrown at him? |

Re: I thought the Skins were done signing
All you Ramsey haters get on the phone to Gibbsie at Redskins Park and let him now you are the one to QB the Skins. Better yet go there and show how well you throw the quickout and can throw it 70yds. and hit the wideout in perfect stride-and how nimble you are dodging blitzing linebackers-I have my complaints about Ramsey also-but after reading the interview he had with Fitzgerald I say backoff and give him a vote of confidence.

SKINZ_DUMBIN8: You claim we all have this 'love affair' with Ramsey and I just don't see it. I do see many of the posters here viewing him as a healthy alternative to Brunell and a QB with potential. I also see, if anything, that you have a lot of hate for him. What are you anyway. his ex?

Re: I thought the Skins were done signing
It's useless to argue with someone who's illogical.
A year from now we'll see who's right. |
