has santana even been active for a game yet?

i do hope they activate him for a final home game.

i have no clue what the skins might do.

we havent given up a kickoff return for a TD yet. i could see us doing that .

If we don't win this one, I'll finally start questioning Gruden's coaching ability. I've been saying all along we're a better team than last year, and if that's true we win this game at home against a 2-4 team who barely beat the Jaguars. No excuses.

I think we win, 27-21. Gruden needs to trust Alfred Morris and give him the ball no less than 25 times. My theory is that Gruden hasn't found out yet that the more you give the ball to #46, the better he gets. This would be a great game to discover that.

Re: Titans vs. Skins Pregame Thread

honestly I hope they activate Long, Lerib, and Mosses. Put in the young pups, let them get their bumps and bruises. By next season they can be starting quality players.

We gave up one against the eagles already :-(

Re: Titans vs. Skins Pregame Thread

Skins 38
Titans 24

Jordan Reed -- 110 yards and 2 TDs
DJax -- 140 yards and 1 TD
Garcon -- 85 yards and 1 TD
Alfmo -- 140 yards (finally) and 1 TD

Skins win this one convincingly. Not sure why I have a lot of confidence in this result, but it's probably because a loss to the lowly Titans would mean that we're going to finish no better and potentially worse than last year, and then there will be a house cleaning that is effectively a complete re-boot (and making any prospect of getting back to a winning franchise even farther down the road) So no pressure, folks.

Seriously, I don't see the Skins blowing this, although it will be closer than it ought to be.

Probably because we beat Jacksonville convincingly and we've played fairly well in two losing efforts despite injuries and other limitations.

Here it comes. Everyone thinks the Titans are a walk over and don't realize we are just as bad

Home field means nothing to the Redskins. There is a permanent dark cloud over Fedex Field.

The Titans' pass rush will be all over Cousins who will, once again, panic in the 4th quarter. Gruden will finally turn to McCoy but he will do it too late to save the game.

After the game we will go over all of the same glaring weaknesses that we've known about since last season. Later in the week, Bruce Allen will refuse to allow Gruden to make any personnel changes. Gruden will say FU and do it anyway, thus initiating a feud with Allen. The losing and feuding will continue throughout the season until Gruden is fired after just one year as HC. On the day Gruden is fired, there will be another earthquake in D.C.

Titans - 27
Redskins - 17

I've already started questioning the coaches but you are spot on.
I was critical of Morris' lack of play making ability but if he runs the ball 30+ times he really shines.
If he only gets 13 carries a game he will get you 40-50 yards and not threaten the defense at all.
he isn't going to flip field position with a long run and just doesn't strike fear in the defense.
They need to use him for what he is great at and thats being a battering ram. let him wear down the D and give the ball to the other guys for explosive plays.

This is hilarious, and would be even funnier if there weren't the slightest possibility of it actually happening (including the earthquake).

I think there's an easy solution however -- just start Cousins for quarters 1-3, and then trot out Colt (or really anyone -- Jordan Reed can be our 4th Q QB -- I really don't care) for the 4th quarter.

As I live in the Nashville Area I was laughing my a** off as in schools my kids are practicing earthquake drills...I asked my wife why. Now I know the real reason!!!!!

Re: Titans vs. Skins Pregame Thread

We can talk about running the ball more as much as we want, but we HAVE GOT TO RUN MORE THAN THE SAME DAMN STRETCH RUN 80% of time we run it smfh...
