Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Trent williams has given up zero sacks according to PFF. That's just ridiculously good

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Looking at their forums, they sound a lot like us. Mainly inconsistent. I don't know how anyone can predict the outcome between 2 wildly inconsistent teams.

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
A game they certain can win, but I have no idea what to expect out of them.
One thing I can almost guarantee is that after Monday's game I would expect every team left on the schedule will be sending the uber-blitz at Kirk to test his ability to adjust and handle it. They better have more plays drawn up to counter it. |

We win because of this song. The only song known to man about hogs hunting bears.

I think, much like the KC thread, Gruden does have room to grow, BUT, he has to learn it's ok to be TD centric, instead of FG like I believe he is now. I think he has a belief that any drive ending in points is a good drive, but, especially early in games, getting a TD instead of a FG makes a huge difference. Sadly, I don't know that he will ever change that mentality. |

Good shit. As i have said many times let SM give Jay and KC some sorely needed help and the plan will come together. Were almost there folks. |

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Odd signing to me. Big bruising back - we have two of those. With Thompson dinged, we need change of pace. Not sure who is out there, on the ps or otherwise, but this seems a little odd to me.

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Fair point. I am not sure that Morris or Jones are necessarily lacking in that department, although neither gets many opportunities (especially Morris).
I hope Thompson can heal quickly. He's always been injury prone and it raises questions of how much the team can rely upon him. Like his speed and the change of pace he brings, but availability could be better.

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Yeah not sure I'd call Thomas a bruiser, 5-11 215, he's definitely a nice receiver coming out of the backfield. He caught a ton of passes in New Orleans.

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
Chris Thompson was our 3rd down receiving threat out of the backfield. Thomas picks up blitzes well and is a receiving threat first and foremost. What don't you understand??

Re: Da-feat Da Bears
OK, lighten up, Francis. I was helpfully reminded by Punch that PT has excellent receiving skills.
