Re: How Far Can They Go

1 game season from here on out. I'm going hard on the kool-aid for once, I say we beat the Pack and advance to beat the Cards (and I finally get to witness a DC team in the conference finals for the first time in my life!) but we lose to the Panthers in the NFC Championship game.

Re: How Far Can They Go

I like what Blackmon has done coming off the street and starting but he is the easy to target liability. Dunbar is playing well for being a rookie converted from WR but he is also any easy target as well. Dunbar might not play this Sunday.

If Cary Williams and Blackmon both see the field at the same time .... thats a really weak secondary. I would feel so much better w a healthy culliver in there w bree.

28th - total defense (yards)
25th - pass d
26th - run d
17th - pts allowed

if we didnt have 26 timely takeaways on D, we would be even lower. if the offense didnt control the ball to put us 6th in TOP, our D numbers are even worse. The run D has gotten a lot better w mason/compton in there but this D is vulnerable.

I picked us to beat the pack but its iffy imo. The pack have the least explosive offense in the league over the past 5 games or so but our D is suspect.

Re: How Far Can They Go

Why not!

This week: I think the offense will run the ball with success against GB, control the clock, and hit a few big plays. Defense will do a decent job stopping the run, and make Aaron Rodgers uncomfortable, but he's still good for a couple big plays.

Redskins 27
Packers 20

Next week against Arizona: Redskins win the turnover battle, offense continues to roll, and they get a big play on special teams to surprise the Cardinals.

Redskins 33
Cardinals 30

The following week against Seattle (at home): Redskins avenge the last three playoff losses with a blowout win against the Seahawks. Starters rest in the 4th quarter.

Redskins 38
Seahawks 19

February 7th: Champs!

Being in the playoffs is like a lottery ticket. It might be mathematically foolish to get your hopes up that you'll win, but if you don't buy a ticket you can't even dream of the ultimate prize.

We've got a chance, you never know!

Because the bigger you dream, the harder the crash.

Re: How Far Can They Go

Im with Matty. Look at what the Giants did twice in the last few years? There is not team that even remotely resembles that Pats team n they got beat. Every team has looked like absolute crap recently that is one of the top seeds. Those games were big games too. The Steelers almost threw their post season away against a terrible Ravens team. The Panthers threw away their chance at an undefeated season against a terrible Falcons team. The Seahawks got beat by the dang Rams! The Cards got torched last week and have looked piss poor lately. We will beat the Packers. You can bank on that. Than we will probably play the Panthers. Cousins has a nasty habit of playing really well the second time around or after he effs up. Second time he played Dallas D was a big FU. Second time he played the Gints was a big FU. This team has as bright a future as any rite now it appears but there is no way they are content with a division title. They are rollin rite now and I think they have their sights set on a big finish here folks. Sky is the limit rite now. Im trying to avoid using the S word but freakin HTTR!

Re: How Far Can They Go

The Redskins are 9-7 and lost to falcons in OT and cowboys by 3 ..could have been 11-5..they are better than the record indicates ..There is no reason why the Skins can't beat the packers at Fed ex. I say 31-30 skins take it to next round!!!

Re: How Far Can They Go

This Redskins team is reminding me of our 1982 Redskins w/ more loses.
