Re: Redskins trade for Center Bryan Stork

<sigh> Got my hopes up.

He had a series of concussions. Given the number of folks who have done the same recently, it would not be to surprising if he did.

One of the commenters to one of the twitter links said "So, apparently, the 'conditional' part of the 7th rounder was him not retiring."

Re: Redskins trade for Center Bryan Stork

Well he's probably better than anyone we currently have, which isnt saying too much. Kory, Lerib, Long...all atrocious.. I like this move if he can stay healthy and wants to play. However, NE isn't going to get the short end of a trade. He must really be garbage in camp if they're trading him for a 7th.

Before stork thinks about retiring, he may want to speak to McC and Bill Callahan. I gotta feeling they may change his mind

I also want to know the "source" saying he's contemplating retirement...

I pasted this in the other thread, but I found it at CBS Sports....

Re: Redskins trade for Center Bryan Stork

Oh, sorry, I mean the actual source, not the news article. All the articles I've read say a "source" say he's contemplating retirement. Gimme' dat source!

Also, the DC media has to be popping the biggest boners ever. I think easily twelve articles were written about this the past two hours.

Re: Redskins trade for Center Bryan Stork

So, no Stork coming to town? Apparently he did not participate in the Pats offseason conditioning program, which tarnished his image with the coaching staff. Here's a pic of him from early August.

If the guy gives us one good game its better than a LATE seventh rounder, (notice the optimism) , never even sniffing the field. Hope he stays healthy, keeps his head on straight, and makes the Pats regret it.

I dont see us trading picks for a guy unless we lack serious depth or the franchise believes he will make an immediate impact. I see him starting week 1.

Litch or Leribeus days are numbered.
