Ian Rappaport: Some clarity on the #Redskins: Senior VP of Football Operations and General Counsel Eric Schaffer is currently in the building and remains employed by the team. That is expected to be the case going forward, as he’s a valuable member of the front office.
Craig Hoffman: When asked to confirm if Eric Schaeffer had been fired from the organization, a source with knowledge of the situation said "no." The @team980 report is wrong. AND straight from the horses mouth... Rick Doc Walker: Correction on my earlier report on dismissal of Eric Shaffer. I just spoke to Eric and he is still in.

So PFT's twitter account posted that the "leak" regarding Schaffer being fired is Schafer himself. He was told he was out on Monday. This is all very confusing.
