Re: NFL Draft Round 1 Thread
This draft will be a success to me IF:
- TW is off the team, and we have a reasonable option for his successor - CY is on the team OR we are feeling like the fox who got all the eggs in the henhouse - There are no rumors, conspiracy theories, or naysayers yelling about Dan Snyder forcing draft issues. I will hate it (or be ever so unhappy) if - TW is still on the team pouting around - we take a qb in the first 3 rounds - we take players who fell because of injury concerns |

Re: NFL Draft Round 1 Thread
They already used their 5th on backup Kyle Allen, no way they carry 3.

Re: NFL Draft Round 1 Thread
I suspect they will go with two QBs, and Logan Thomas as the 'emergency' third.

Re: NFL Draft Round 1 Thread
Get the 3rd pick without giving up the 5th pick? Besides it being an insulting offer, The Detroit GM couldn't make that trade because he would be tarred, feathered and rode out of town on a rail if he did.

Re: NFL Draft Round 1 Thread
Well if they include their 1st round pick the next 2 seasons, he might not be, but it would be a tough sell. Ideally that would give Detroit ammunition both of the next two drafts to get Stafford's replacement.

Re: NFL Draft Round 1 Thread
If they did, there’s a local kid that went to the high school across the street from my house. Anthony Gordon from Washington State, played under Mike Leach, backed up Gardner Minshew and started after Minshew left. Kid is a winner everywhere he’s played and had pretty good senior bowl. I would get him in the lower rounds.

Re: NFL Draft Round 1 Thread
Did a bunch of his tape this past season, I'm a fan of his. But I want Haskins to have a legit shot.
