Re: Wft vs niners prediction thread
SF is so beat up, I don't see how they score more than 17 on us.
I'm riding the wave folks. 24-17 WFT

Re: Wft vs niners prediction thread
I don't think WFT is in the position to underestimate anyone. This will be a tough game, especially if they keep the trend of spotting them 10-14 points. However, this offense doesn't scare me. Mullens has as many TDs as he does INTs. He's been sacked 13 times in 6 starts. Their rushing and passing game are middle of the pack. Yes, they have athletes, but their receivers aren't above the caliber of the Steeler's receivers, or even Dallas' for that matter.
It's entirely possible WFT goes out and lays an egg, and SF runs through them...but I sense something different in this team the past few weeks. They are on a mission, and unless they make too many mistakes, turn the ball over, kill themselves with penalties, this shouldn't be that close when the clock expires. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOGq...ature=youtu.be
https://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/n...line/page1542/ ---------------- 9ers O line might be having some issues. Their fans think they arent good at pass pro. One of their posters made a video of the O line breakdowns in pass pro (top link) This team is hard to figure what we are getting. Are we getting the 1-4 team over the past 5 games or the team that beat the Rams 2 weeks ago? Backup QB Mullens seems to have some good games and bad games. 26-39, 316 yds, 3 td 2 ints vs a very solid Bills D. They were down 27-10 in the 2Q so how much of the 316 was gimme underneath stuff vs a soft D? Seems they dont have an elite outside pass rush/edge play +3 skins line ... I really dont know what to expect, feels like a toss up ------------ Javon Leake - former terp, bigger frame RB w decent speed. loved watching him in College park. so many former terp running backs in the league (ty johnson, leake, mcfarland) --------------- 9ers LB Fred Warner ... playing at a very high level. He scares me CB Jason Verrett is playing at a pro bowl to all pro level, I thought he was injured but apparently not |

Re: Wft vs niners prediction thread
I’m giving Love 1 more year, if you saw what he did at Stanford you would be a fool not to.

2+ years of dealing with knee issues? I don't know, sounds like it's probably over for Love.

Re: Wft vs niners prediction thread
Montez bats 4 balls to himself for pick sixes. Offense adds a couple FGs.
WFT - 34 9ers - 17

Re: Wft vs niners prediction thread
The Gibson injury really sucks man. I was looking forward to seeing what he could do down the stretch. Hope that toe injury doesn't linger too long, and he's back to his normal self soon.

Re: Wft vs niners prediction thread
I’m guess I’m not the only one speculating Haskins future with the team.

Re: Wft vs niners prediction thread
My sense is that his future is directly tied to what they do in the draft. If a QB prospect they are high on falls into their lap at some point in the draft, Haskins is probably done here. If they are not able to draft a QB prospect they are high on (I don't expect them to reach/draft a QB just to draft one), then Haskins likely gets a second chance here - at least for one more season.
