I don't want Carr, he's a solid player but he will want big $ and he's not worth it.. Draft OUR OWN guy and build around him

He has a similar skill set as Heinicke, but obviously way more skills and arm talent. Similar size too, but a thicker build. A rich man's Heinicke.
I like him. Then on the flip side I like Carson from Nevada. Who is a completely different kind of QB. He's a big dude. Pure pocket passer.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Looking at our cap space and current contract next year. Without doing anything right now we sit with approximately 65 million. Of course that’s with Fitzpatrick and Schreff off the books.
Two moves we could make… 1. Designate Landon Collins as a post June 1 cut. That gives us 12 million more in space. 2. Cut Erik Flowers which would result in zero cap penalty and give us 10 million in immediately cap relief. I think Flowers could be a keeper with a restructured deal with possible extension. But cutting Collins is a no brainer…77 million in cap space would put us in the top 5 in the league.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Let me add to this discussion around drafting qb this year. I think I'm stating the obvious...but the organization as a whole needs to step up and make 100% sure that Dan Snyder stays out of the fucking draft room for the qb position. Keep him away. Far the fuck away. As bad of an owner as he is....he is even worse at evaluating qb prospects. Stay. Away. Dan.

Unfortunately the “football” people who work for Snyder are not much better. Was evident in the draft, free agency, and roster cuts. We got bozos working for a douche. |

I think Carson Strong has potential, Corral needs to add weight. Malik Willis is good but idk if he’s top 10
Good.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I'm in 2 minds on RR. Either he is in over his head with all the non-HC stuff, or he's playing the long game of getting the highest draft pick next year to try get that franchise QB...

Willis is a late round project. No way do you draft him in the first few rounds. 6th rounder.
