Why the f@#k would the Redskins have originally agreed to this sum????

That seems ludicrous to me!
It seems ludicrous to everyone except LaVar apparently

One reason the hit would be so high is that the bonus (allegedly) would have been (allegedly) dispersed during the past two years (allegedly). Since they have not, the full brunt would be borne in 2006.

Re: Arrington's hearing back on

I hate to say it, but I give alot of credit to the Eagles for being so firm with TO. Somebody has to step in and say enough with the madness. Maybe the rest of the teams in the NFL will follow suit. If so, then the agents will realize they can't take things too far...and believe me the players do want to get paid something....and I'm sorry...but right now I'd take $50,000 a year job in a heartbeat!

Re: Arrington's hearing back on

I don't know about you guys but this is the last straw with me as far as Arrington goes. I'm getting fed up with his bullcrap. Grievance dropped, then back on. Then he bad mouths our training and medical staff and coach Gibbs who have always had a proven record of treating injured players well. Lavar is all talk and glamour and very little return. He was what Chris Webber was in D.C. and what Kwame Brown is now (well maybe not quite that bad). It's almost like we have Michael Westbrook again, there is always something with this guy (injury, contract dispute, etc.). I saw an article one day last week that talked about concerns on whether Lavar would peacefully co-exist with Gregg Williams and his disciplined defensive scheme. Lavar as we know is a free-lancer (for some reason he thinks that he's LT II, which he will never be). Note to Lavar, Greg Williams is a proven defensive genius, you are a dumb pimp with athletic skill but shit for brains. All you have done here is lose and make watered down Pro Bowls. Shut up and play and if you don't like it, quit football. I wish we had never signed him to that new deal and could have figured out a way to get his cap number down (probably was worse than the new deal) and traded him. Too late now. I like Marcus Washington and I think that he is a better player.
