Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
I was excited to hear Ramsey looked confident and relaxed and Gibbs said he saw "flashes", they worked on throwing deep (YEAH!) and in the shotgun.

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
I just like hearing Joe speak. He seemed in a very good mood. He doesn't give away a lot in the pressers because he doesn't want to single people out too much. Plus he's never one to give away his game plans.
He did give a strong shoutout to Rock, which was interesting. Glad to hear Rock is making an impression. Man, is it only June?!?!

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
These shout-out might just be the Coach trying to turn a training camp cut into a trade for a late-round pick. Though I really like what Rock did for us two years ago, he may not have a spot on this team without really exploding this camp. Brown is crazy fast, but that might not be enough to land him a roster spot either.
I used to say the only safe roster spots were determined by cap figures. After Coles, I'm not so sure...

Could be right BrudLee. Which is sneaky-smart of Joe Gibbs if that is the case..but I really do hope these guys are doing well in camp.

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
I don't see what Rock can do for us besides special teams. Nothing wrong with that, don't get me wrong.

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
Gibbs was just praising Rock in the press conference, so I dunno. I don't see how we can have room for Rock. I mean, I am confident in that the two backs we'll utilize the most will be Portis and Betts - Cooley being the lead blocker.
Maybe Rock will just be a special teams guy, but I honestly see Thrash and Brown dominating the kick returns.

Re: Thoughts on Gibb's Presser
Believe me, I have nothing against Rock. However, we did just draft not one but two FB/TB type runners. I have a feeling that unless Mr. Cartwright shows in training camp that he can push Betts for #2, we'd rather keep a Gibbs pick than a Spurrier pick.
